It's easy with practice and good tools. A usb microscope is mandatory. Even a cheap one.

A modded wii u can run most games from the NES SNES GB GBA GBC DS N64 GAMECUBE WII SEGA some Arcade and some PS1. Incredible hardware

I grew up with that and the Wii they will always be my favorite and the games on it that hold a special place in my heart the games of which are Mario galaxy 2 and Mario maker Alongside 3d world (which I still haven’t beaten …)

Pls what can I do I got my ps4 slim 2 month ago just 2 weeks ago I had to change the PSU due to the game won’t turn on just a beep with blue light and turns back off after I replace the PSU the game works cool now I’m having Same issues again I’m scared of getting PSU.. so is it possible for another internal component like motherboard should be making the PSU damage ??

@@vgrepairs It wasn’t the camera man, it was the editing of the letters being straight over the ps4 being taken apart. No worries found a video that it much clearer and thorough.

@@Spedkitty I was so disappointed in the camera work that I just put the important info on the screen, because even without the letters blocking what i was doing, the camera did not effectively capture what I was doing. It was shot too far away without zooming in.

I walked out of there with perfect vision. By the next day my eyes were fully adjusted. I work construction so i had a lot of dust smoke and dirt kicking into my eyes daily and i even had hot metal shavings blast into my eye only 2 months after surgery and i STILL have perfect vision now almost a year later its amazing.

Great build. These are a nice platform for modding to an individual's taste and rejuvenate an aging platform. A couple of important points for viewers who are new to modding/soldering. 1) Do not solder on top of the IPS screen backplate; you risk damaging your beautiful new screen. 2) do not solder on top of the lithium battery pack. At best you risk damaging it with the concentrated heat, lowering the overall lifespan of the battery. If careless, overheating has the chance of igniting the battery. Let's try and use/showcase safe practices. Look forward to more modding content.

Great job! If you ever choose to try soldering you can install some great upgrades. The point of this video is to show how to restore a gameboy advance and upgrade it with $5-$10 parts instead of the $40 cleanjuice, the $20 dehum dehiss kit, the $20 amps sold by most of the big name online sellers like handheldlegend etc. Thanks for checking out the video!

Thank you! It's up to your preference, but I find it reduces the (very minimal) risk of the solder mounting the usb C port to interfere with ensuring a secure, stable, flat PCB mount to the 3ds motherboard, ie too much dried solder blobbing under the pcb from the ground legs of the usb c port, propping up the pcb ever so slightly. (: I hope that answered your question!

Those shells are pricy! Never tried em! I went with RETRO-CNC brand metal buttons once and they were pretty nice, hard to justify to someone else but great quality nonetheless!

@@johncahill1985 Because you're not installing a new speaker, amp, rechargeable battery, dehiss kit. Of course. You're just replacing the shell and screen. You can't even adjust the brightness if you don't solder it though.

Still excellent vision. I've only had one or two experiences that made me nervous about the lasting effect (one time i was blinded from staring at a high powered LED light and had eye floaters for a few minutes). i work construction and I only took a week long break to recover and get back to work. ive worked in a dusty, dirty environment daily with no issues so far!
