Try an automatic foam soap dispenser for a more efficient way to generate lather. Simply mix soap and water and with a wave of your hand the lather will come out automatically, eliminating the need to press and avoiding cross-contamination. I'd love to see bloggers try this out and offer help with it!

Thanks for this. I have a pair of jean shorts that are properly cuffed, but I prefer how they look when they're rolled and am getting tired of having to refold and press them every time they get washed. This looks like a simple fix if I can manage to keep the thread from tangling. (My hand-sewing skills aren't the greatest.)

So far I have made 3, 2 of which were sewn just now. The only bit I struggle with is the sewing of the ends of the elastic using the sewing machine, so I overstitched by hand. I am no seamstress by any means, but I am quite pleased with myself, I just hope our little granddaughter likes them and they fit her 🫢❤️🤣

I must be doing something wrong on the corners because they’re not folding in like yours. They’re just going straight up.

Hi can ı ask a question? How do you make the knot stay in place. Mine just sliding while ı take of the bracelet from my wrist. And all multi strings fall down. Am ı pull hard or am i doing wrong the knot? I'm talking about the knot which you made 3:26 I hope you can help me.
@AdventuresofaDIYMom3 ай бұрын
I’m not sure why that’s happening. I pull the knot as tight as possible and then double knot it on the opposite side, pulling as tight as I can with each knot. Melting the ends should also help with the knot coming off.
@simgekoc55033 ай бұрын
@@AdventuresofaDIYMom i get it. I think i can't melt properly. I think there is some trick for that but it is the same thing what i did. I will be extra carefull and try silicone melting and nail polish 😇 I use embroidery floss, not wax floss maybe this is the reasons to easisly break off.

Brilliant idea of cutting!! Such pretty quilts. If you wanted a straight top and bottom, what size triangles would you use?
@AdventuresofaDIYMom3 ай бұрын
I would probably just make the quilt the same and then cut the top and bottom straight after the top is sewn (less math and calculating that way)

How did you finish so the end does not unravel?
@AdventuresofaDIYMom4 ай бұрын
The serger cuts and sews an overlock stitch over the edge, so it doesn’t unravel. If you prefer using a sewing machine, I have a video for that method as well. It’s in the description.

You didn’t explain the 3rd row. Just single stitch for 2 rows then you flashed to whatever you have…..

Continue to single crochet, stitching round and around, (NOT back and forth in rows)

My mother showed me how to embroider. She told me I was a good color mixer but I was too stingy with my thread. Lol In my defense we were a coal mining family and thread was a luxury to me. She never skimped on a hank of thread. All our sheets and pillowcases had lovely scenes.
