Hehe they started the season dissing Samantha in a passive aggressive way trying to say she is not a good friend but this was such a shit show that they had to beg Samantha to come for a small cameo to save their ratings. What a shit show completely unnecessary and definitely didn’t live up to hype. Sex and the city was IT.

I actually love the 5th season the most, I feel like it's an important season because it establishes the arches for the 6th season! I love carrie's plot in this season as we see her try and develop herself without a man!

In terms of mentioning Samantha, I agree that the reason for them not talking didn't make any sense. But i think they could have come up with something better, I don't think it would have worked well if they just didn't mention her at all. I think they could have just mentioned her in the first ep and had it that she was meant to come back from London after covid lockdowns but she decided to stay. It's normal to have friends that move overseas no longer be part of your everyday life so it would have been fine if she was then no longer mentioned.

I find it scary when people say they relate to Carrie, lol, because which part??? And have you seen season 3?? And I think Nina's deaction to Carrie was accurate. She did real damage to that man, he shouldn't have gotten back with her, but the majority of the blame is with her.

You know I think they did show Samantha being lonely at times and wanting more, but she had to keep appearances. That's why the Richard thing happened and her other boyfriend who broke her heart, plus that guy from season 1 she said she was in kove with.

This has to be one of my favorite episodes because of free they all are outside of the famous Manhattan but to explore a different part of city and they can still be themselves

It’s funny the fifth season is the most disliked bc it’s the season I’m most familiar with 😂 so all those episodes mean a great deal to me ❤ I couldn’t tell you much of anything about the seasons before or after except Carrie’s boyfriends and Natasha’s tooth.
