I fixed mine with a thin strip of Teflon tape on threads then used this info works great

Modify your ez start to accept a lipo, no need for a seperate ignitor. Traxxas fuel is garbage and you replaced the cooling tower, not the head. Idle is too high and I never heard it hit 2nd gear, that is adjustable too.

Ok I’m cutting my center plate out thanks I got a axle mounted servo but the type of truck I got my plate gets in the way

So to summarize. Use good fuel, get a good cooling head and get a glow plug and igniter

i switched to the VP fuel as well and the truck seems to be running better

OS plugs, yes. Different glow igniter, not needed with the OS plug. Less oil, no. The traxxas motors love extra oil. Also your idle is super high

I think that you ment the head would fit the 2.5 and 2.5r. If its for a 2.5 it wouldn't fit the 3.3

Those highly angled shocks have far far more negatives than positives. Do a proper suspension, and don't worry about flex friday

Can you run this and a BEC?

Torque twist on rc trucks and buggies is fine from what I’ve noticed. It’s not really affecting how the truck crawls at all when you’re on the throttle at 8% tops. Torque twist won’t really damage the frame or anything else like a real vehicle. So I don’t really see the problem in it when you’re crawling at slow speeds.

Loosing articulation isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes too much can cause your rig unload and to roll on side hill or flip on high degree climbs.
