They were great dancers 7 years ago, but Maks is happily married to Peta Murgatroid; the great tall blonde dancer that used to be on DWTS. She gave Maks a beautiful son that he is madly in love with too. Meryl has been trained to win as can be evidenced by the fact that she and her partner were the #1 ice dancers in the world and they were fabulous too. I think Maks feel in love with her work ethic and her background. He and Peta are sexy together too and Max was engaged to another dancer before Peta, but she broke it off to marry another guy. Maks has become less self-centered since his son was born and anyone likes to dance with a tall attractive man. However, he proposed to Peta in front of the entire dance group before they married and then a couple years later he had his son. Now his brother Val has married Jenna, the dancer who is with JoJo and at top of leaderboard. They have had better dancers in the past and better hosts like Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. Because Erin has worked with sport teams, she knows how to interview people and she's a class act. It was better when they had more male sports figures and when Derek was still a coach. Now he has his own troupe on the road and performing in Vegas. Happy Halloween! Yeah, the Broncos finally got a treat with a win!!

You can totally tell the feelings were there between them. I’m curious if behind the scenes they were ever acted upon??? I know they both have there own lives now and maks is married and Meryl is engaged. But the tension between the two is just so obvious

Beautiful ice dancing and the lifts were amazing. Awesome choreography to Chris Stapleton's song Tennessee Whiskey. Kaitlyn and Andrew are World Class skaters.

This Ciera cover of Paint it Black is the best one! I'd maybe use that the whole way through and then use the last 15 seconds at the most of the London Symphony version to give it that grand ending. That would keep the dark, fierce vibe throughout since the two versions are kinda different.

Wow, Brandon Frazier has really improved in terms of skating skills and carriage.

Their throws are amazing and they obviously can do the throw 3F that late, but I'm surprised they want it at the end. It fits within the framework of the program but I'd maybe move it a bit earlier just so they can do it with maximum energy, although it's good where it is too. And make the footwork straight-line? They have plenty of time to work on the footwork before their GPs. The rest was strong.

So great to see her completely healthy and back in early season competitions! She's amazing.

I can't see much with this video quality, but anyway, I like the contrast between their short and long. They definitely challenge themselves, because this style doesn't come as naturally (even though Alexa is fierce); they are more classical. They can work on the step sequence, I think straight line sequences work better for pairs. Every choreographer should utilize their stretch-- I agree an Alexa kick or something would be cool. Not that I know anything about making a program, it's just my two cents because they're really good.

It's really early, but Alexa truly looks stronger than ever. So much respect for this pair and how they got through her illness.

Alexa is fully back! All her athleticism and strength is there. There is no reason for them to be completely ready in September and they are being intelligent by not rushing. I want a fierce Alexa kick somewhere in this program.
