This work starts in the homophonic style. The middle has a good example of the forte-piano rule found in the Classical period. The repeated phrase is first sang piano with the repeat sang forte. Towards the end Haydn adds polyphonic texture with the phrase "The wonders of his work" while still adhering to major/minor chord structure. It ends with a strong cadence.
