All I can say is, it’s a good thing I don’t live closer. I’d be broke, then divorced !!! Great looking items. 👍

@@mccandlessantiqueauto6509 Grew up in OH. Saw all the big names back then. Landy, Sox & Martin, Jenkins. Something about when I saw Herb in that Demon. Had to have one. The insurance companies were coming after the muscle cars back then. So I traded in my 67 GTX conv with the 440 Super Commando, in on my 72 Demon. Miss that GTX, but I still have that Demon. I’ll look at these items and see if there miht be some that catches my eye. Thx 👍

When Mr.Mc Candless said he turned a 9.01 in 1972. He said the “track was out on Long Island” he was talking about National Speedway in Center Moriches. I was ALWAYS at that track and I think I was there that day. Those days were so much fun. It was a great time to be alive. I turned 19 in 1972. Dear Lord it was good !

I believe Herb did a lot more for Buddy, than Buddy did for him. I doubt Buddy or Ronnie could get more out their cars without Herb and Corporate knew it.

If herb had anything to do with it, would have been first class, these two are legends in there own time and a national treasure, happy birthday buddy and as usual, out standing job by herb and his crew

Chrysler needs to put out a new special edition car, with an available Sox & Martin package. Maybe a Hellcat with extra performance options. They could come up with a new paint job, that would be a modern take on the S&M Red, White, and Blue paint scheme on it.

This is truly wonderful stuff - and with these two legends of our hobby/sport, it deserves much more than a two minute video. How about a much more in-depth installment, especially given the fellas' respective ages? - Ed on the Ridge
