Could be the stator or could just be the regulator you need to get a volt meter and start testing

That's either faulty, or disconnected. To get to it you need to drain the tank, remove it, flip over, 4 10mm nuts and carefully work the sensor out as it snakes around inside the tank. And remember all the angles and turns it took to remove it as you need to repeat them to get the new one in.

There's a list here. Could be the float is stuck. Could be the float valve is stuck. Float could be damaged. Or it could need adjustment. Either way, take the base off and check everything is OK inside

ive had it all apart, its a brand new carb. everything looks normal@@LowtherSport

@@casualxdolphin9532 if you mean the black one. It's a specific one, new old stock from some random Ebay seller. If CMPO have them in stock it's the best place to get parts. If you mean the red stand, it's just a cheap universal paddock stand with L brackets, only got it to lube the chain on the Hornet as they don't have a center stand.

The oil can symbol on these is just a service indicator. Of you've done the service you can reset the light. Plenty of videos on YT showing how it's done

Of course you can. I just used a smashed indicator for the pins because it was going in the bin and I didn't have to cut up my origional light

Yes it would be fine to put a smear of sealer on there. Very thin mind you as you wouldn't want to upset the compression ratio by making the cylinder taller than the piston can reach

@@LowtherSport i just brought mine for £800 but it’s only going 50-55mph max with full throttle, it runs good and no bogging but not fast enough, also when high revs it something is rattling I’m not sure, rides threw all gears fine but it’s just not fast as should be, any help would be appreciated

Pretty sure. But it's been a while. Just look at the holes in the head and cylinder. If there's 3 bigger ones and one small one then it's only 3. If I remember correctly one massive hole for an o-ring

@@LowtherSport not much except for cleaning the carburettor, it made a difference but I still can’t drive without turning the choke off. Just to note there is a performance exhaust on my bike, but I don’t know if it has any effect besides being loud.

@@Legendinfarno se mine would barley drive if the choke was on, defiantly no more then 1/4 throttle.

@@LowtherSport oh and my fuel gauge isnt working properly regardless of how full the fuel tank is. It shows full bars but blinks in and out , not quite sure how to explain it

@@TheCR33P3RZso it's full or blinking. When it's blinking does the whole fuel gauge blink, even the outline part? If so, it means it isn't getting a reading. So I'd be replacing that fuel level sensor in the bottom of the tank, it can be hard to wiggle put as it snakes round. Just remember the angles you had to move to get it out as the new one has to go in the same awkward way.

@@LowtherSport Yes the whole fuel gauge blinks in and out. Thought it might be the fuel level sensor but wasnt certain. Any idea where I can purchase that sensor? Unfortunately CMPO is out of stock.

Try adjusting the valve clearances, if they're sticking open you'll get no compression or vacuum. If the engine turns over very easy and fast, then that's a sign of a compression issue.

Thanks for your reply, it turned out the previous owner when replaced the carb, made the throttle too tight so the carb valve was open all the time, no wonder there wasn't any suction 😅 I managed to get it run, but as I'm not a big scooter expert it sounds a bit funny to me, any chance you got an email or something where I could send you a short video of the sound it makes?
