How does DK do as a pitcher? I know other characters like Dixie and Boo are typically preferred but I remember doing well with him when I was younger.

going off my memory from like 16 years ago, there are definitely a lot of similarities to what my list would have been. my most controverisal take is that king boo belongs in the #1 spot. he was in my opinion the 3rd best of the 4 legit dinger hitters because id slap outside pitch over the right field wall all day. but also i think he slept on as a pitcher, maybe just a grade under boo. being the only homer hitter that could pitch made him most valuable to me. also off the mound 3rd/1st base is a great spot

I like Mario at Pitcher. Can strike out anyone with ease with him. Magikoopa is top tier at shortstop especially with his magic sticks catches and pulls in just about anything and most balls are hit there. I also throw yoshi in center and toadette in left usually

I always liked Monty Mole, Unfortunately he rarely is playable, so I was happy when he was in this game, which also happened to become my favourite Mario Sports game. However it did not catch up with my friends back then, since well, noone knows baseball rules here in germany.

Every time I bat the ball is caught and doesn't go in the direction I wanted to hit it in, how do I hit in the direction I want. I hold the stick in the direction I want the ball during and after the hit yet it always seems random where it goes. I'm getting fed up of the game, what do I do
