If only they worked with blind spot sensor, or I were willing to give up the sensor. Dang!
@ModernJeeper13 сағат бұрын
It is not designed to work with the sensor purely because of liability reasons... however, from what we understand, there is an unofficial spot for the sensor to be fitted.

Does it have rebound adjustment?
@ModernJeeper12 сағат бұрын
No, Metalcloak focused on the unique technology of their internal Parabolic valving system and Compression adjustment that is actually noticeable at each click, rather than what has become a bit of a gimmick to sell shocks - rebound adjustment. At some point they may address it.
@BufordEdits12 сағат бұрын
@ModernJeeper parabolic is just a fancy term for shimming that people have been doing forever...... I want to be able to adjust rebound for whoops and high-speed running. That's why I will probably go with external bypasses. It's hard to find a shock that will let you adjust rebound without going to a external bypass.

For those with stock 6.2 inch backspacing rims, where will I see contact on the Metalcloak outboard front shock mounts if I do not have 2 inch spacers?

The wheels will make contact with the shock and the outboard mount when making a full turn.

Can inner fenders be used with zero lift?
@metalcloak27 күн бұрын
Absolutely. Many of our early customers would put on the fenders as their first mod to fit larger tires before they could get the lift kit they wanted.

so this fits the JL 12 bolt rear end cover ?
@metalcloakАй бұрын
Our cover is designed for the M220 (3rd gen D44) rear axle. The M200 ( 3rd gen D35) also has 12 bolts but will not fit the skid correctly.
@robinparker99Ай бұрын
does this also fit a gladiator overland?
@metalcloakАй бұрын
It is designed to go with the High Clearance Split-able fenders of the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator Rubicon. I do not know what types of fenders are on the Overland, but if they are the lower clearance version, these will not work.
@robinparker99Ай бұрын
@metalcloak already sent them back and got some for my overland from Quake.

Thank you for pointing this out. Just as an FYI for all customers - our website specifies everything that comes in the lift kits and suspension systems. Every component is shown in the images and the What's in the Kit section.

Can you run a snorkel with them
@metalcloak3 ай бұрын
Yes, over the years many customers have added snorkels to their kits - specifically the ARB Safari Snorkel. Generally it requires some modification... like needing to raise the outlet from the side of the fender about 6" - do it goes through the aluminum access panel... which also means finding a different air tube that the one provided with the kit... something more flexible that can navigate around the battery.
