I am in the process of building my first business breeding Rottweilers and I am in the market for either building or buying prefabricated not sure and the only way I know how to decide is to reschurch check out both and make a decision

I love your huskies so much, I just love your dogs, I actually have a Labrador Retrevier named Henderson and I love him very much, he was going to be a guide dog for the blind, but he didn't pass the guide dogs for the blind test yet, so I am sad to say that he didn't pass the test to train to be a guide dog for the blind, so I am happy to say that now that Henderson is my dog now, and I will report back to you later!!!

The Samoyeds seem to have a very efficient slower trot with a far forward reach. Siberians seem lighter with more spring. Alaskans are more like Siberians but look like the have a longer stride. Not 100% sure. Very interesting and instructive video. Thanks!

Hope that hot wire is low voltage. Most store sold hot wire is for horses and cattle.

Probably the most challenging dog breed of all to own. Own; more like they own your heart, really. However, the only breed of dog I'll ever have. For everyone? Absolutely NOT. The rewards far outweigh the cons. The reputation they have of being dangerous to children is total BS, and more a result of shockingly bad and neglectful parenting. Our female husky taught our child to walk, it was right out of hollywood. Will never forget you, Kali.

Never skip leg day or obedience day. But you pretend that’s obedient if you want. 12 week pups can do better then that haha. Should of stuck with the kennels

Don't forget they inspired Houdini lol just kidding. But they are quite the escape artists. FYI don't have chain linked fence....they can climb it....even the 10ft high kennel fences...God I miss mine

Can you teach a dog Gee for Left and Haw for Right unlike to the standard use? Or is there reason Gee has to be always for Right and Haw always for Left? I am not a native English speaker and for me Gee is easier to connect with Left.

You can teach a dog any word you like. You can even just call it "left" and "right". The only time it really makes a difference, is when someone else tries to steer the dogs and doesn't know what words you taught.

Thanks a lot. I will keep that in mind. We are practicing once a week. He is slowly understanding that I am asking to change direction. But he likes to follow his nose when pulling.

Please keep in mind that Gee(Right) and Haw(Left) are used for all driving animals, including horses. It's one thing to use totally separate words like right and left or even your own made up words; but if you existing words and reverse their meaning you will have the only dogs in the world that are trained to do it exactly reverse and exactly wrong. Thus every other driver on Earth will misdirect your team and crash them no matter how great they are. If you want your very own words, go for it; I encourage you to not use existing well known and defined words and reverse their meaning; not for the dogs, but for us humans. Have fun and be safe.

x-back harnesses are not actually designed for skateboarding. When mushing with cart, the line attaching the harness to the sled is horizontal to the ground. But unless you're extremely short, your hands (holding the line when you skateboard) will be higher than the dog's back. This creates a completely different type of pressure and actually makes it difficult for a dog to pull with an x-back harness. Luckily there are harnesses that are specifically designed for things like skijoring/skateboarding, canicross, etc (sports where the line is attached to a point above the dog's back.

Oh not at all, this is easy for them to pull! You actually want a rig with some weight to it for safety when training. A light rig may be useful for racing but for training, particularly in the early season you want the dogs to be moving slower and building muscle and strength. Speed training comes later.
