That’s about a 120 MPH indicated for all you Americans an MPH folks. To put that in perspective a ninja 650, R7 or sv650 top out at 130. That’s prettt good for the little 451. Sounds great too, screams more than I expected.

Ppl say the ninja 500 is a good beginner bike and i’m a first time rider (barely passed the msf course which was my first time riding a motorcycle at all. I grew up riding bicycles and rode some 50cc scooter for fun in college. Am i crazy for thinking that a bike with the ability to go over 100mph is not a beginner bike? What makes it a “beginner bike”?

Hey so I just purchased a 2024 ninja 500 about 5 days ago. I'm a brand new rider never even rode a scooter. Took the MSF course 2 weekends ago. I've been having a blast on the ninja 500. It's light, very flickable in corners, and the acceleration and speed is very manageable. It's not about the top speed that makes it a good beginner bike but how manageable the speed is. The acceleration is quite tame yet fun. It's extremely forgiving and easy to control does exactly what you want and expect it to do when you need it. You just have to be smart and not ride over your limits just like with every other bike.

@@MrJamjammers I appreciate your response! I am also 5’7” and my tippy toes are on the ground while straddling the saddle, so maneuvering it in neutral is a task. Do you have that same issue? My driveway is a fairly steep incline so backing it out of the driveway seems…a bit sketchy?

I’m looking for my first bike and my options are ninja 500 bc j heard they changed the 400’to 500 and then there’s cbr500r and r3 and aprilla rs457 and ninja 650 and cbr650r and gxsr8r and Daytona 660 and r7 and rs660 I am 6 foot 4 and 210 pounds I need something that goes highways speed and passing speed too will be going 75-85 on highway probably and this will be my first bike what do you think I should get

try sitting on the bikes and go for a test ride if you can. This will probably be able to short list some of them quickly as your body will fit better on some bikes over others. You will also get to test the power to see if it is adequate or you need more. I personally will not get any of the 600cc class as a first bike because you are most like going to drop it (we have all been there). Came from a Rebel 250 and had a similar list for my second bike, ended up with the Ninja 500 which I have not regret since.

Gut für beginner :) würde mir schon die 500er anstatt die 400er holen, damit der Wiederkaufswert höher ist. Am Ende geben sich die beiden nicht wirklich was. Hast halt n richtiges Display, aber das geschmackssache. Bin sehr zufrieden mit der 500er ❤

@@atrapfare Ja finde die 500er auch auch schöner als die 400er. Bin nur am überlegen ob ich mir die 650er oder 500er holen soll. Weiß nicht ob die 650 zu viel touring ist oder ob sich die tausend euro mehr da überhaupt lohnen

@@parkappaniggaich hab mir auch überlegt die 650 zu holen, aber das lohnt sich nicht. Ich find die zu touring mäßig. Spar die 1000€ lieber für ein ganz großes bike am Ende :)

its almost feels similar to the 400 but the front is thicker. That´s why it feels more like a bigger bike. If you have the choice, buy the 500, you can sell it at a higher price, because its new. In every other aspect it´s the same as 400.

both are nice, aprilla has better specs and some nice stuff like up side down fork. But the main reason for me was that the aprilla rs 457 is build in india. no tests, no experience. Kawasaki was just more reliable for me.

ccs dont equal power, it has the same hp but it has much more torque and generally has more power in the lower gears

People buying the Ninja 500 aren't worried about top speed. Anything under 150 is slow for a bike, let's be real. I bought the Ninja 500 to learn on. It allows me to make mistakes without killing me, build skills, and it's still not objectively slow imo. 0-60 in 4-5 seconds is quick. If you want a fast bike, don't buy a Ninja 400 or 500, get a ZX-10r or at the minimum a Zx6r

DJI Action 4, no nd Filter :) for the audio the DJI Mic 2 transmitter, connected with the camera. But for the audio I would recommend you something else, not the best with this mic ❤️
