Great video! how have you added the moisture mod from ThundR? do you have to add it into the map scripting or just in your mod folder like any other mod?

Hi! Thank you! I was using a version of his mod from itch.io, and that added it in. This is still an old version of the map: don't want to break the save. I tried a newer version of the script, but I think I have a conflict. Need to find out what.

Hey man, you need to disable your premium dlc when playing on this map. That why there aren't any crops growing when you load in to a new game.

How real to life is the texture landing on the ground behind the combine when harvesting lentils? It almost looks like one of the tillage textures. Maybe just looks strange to my eyes as offset against the blackness of the dirt...

I'm not 100% sure, but it seemed the whole reflection was messed up. Maybe a camera mod? It was something game related I feel, not the mod.

I'm just now noticing as you draw the line across the field (55:07) and are putting down grass, that that same line is showing up on the small PDA map. Does the game always do that? Or do you have a mod that causes that? I didn't know it could impact the little picture... unless I'm not seeing things correctly. Does anyone make a dozer or a road grader mod that that would allow you to punch in this line with equipment in-game versus using the edit functions? Or to 'put down gravel' to create the road?

I believe that is a default feature: basically I am deleting a field, so the field (which was shown on the map) is replaced with nothing (which ends up being the PDA background). It is pretty cool that it works live. As far as building roads goes, yes: terrafarm would allow me to do this with a machine (dozer, grader, excavator, roller) I believe, but dumped material like loose gravel couldn't have the same effect. So if I hauled gravel in, I would have to just delete it with a roller (as though it was being packed down).

I really do, yeah, and I need to add hands to some tractors so that it can feel a bit more immersive. It just feels more like I'm in the seat, and less like controlling a tractor from a distance.

The landscape definitely has a Montana feel, although it looks a bit white off in the distance. Did they not add enough color to the textures/models in the distance, or is that just an optical illusion? Or maybe just the limed fields do it...

Howdy! I don't know how to mod ATS, sorry. The guy I would recommend for tutorials is Half Fast Gaming. I do know that ATS is much more of a challenge to mod than FS, which is why I have stuck with FS.

Haha, they are definitely close if not it: I wanted to roleplay a really cheap old truck (and trailer). Something debadged with low hp: I think it works for now, but if I can manage a series, it needs a refresh/replacement once money is available.
