Is Toyota cleaning all the engine debris out of the new 4runner engines or is left in there like in the Tundras ? Toyota built it's reputation and customer loyalty on reliable vehicles at a fair price. Seems like they're doing their best to reverse that trend.

We test drive a 2025 CRV EXL, and 2024 Rav4 XLE Premium. We bought the Rav4. CRV is larger, and that's the only advantage we found. Its second row seat is not comfortable, and we don't like there are two more shifts after the "D". Plus, it is about 10 horsepower fewer than Rav4.

$50k… not for the average Joe. Unless, you are ok with getting into debt for 7 years. 👎🏽 Still looking for a truck that doesn’t go over $40k with all these features. Most vehicles are over priced by a minimum of $10k - this is no exception.

New gen RX is a disappointment, not only does it have a 4 cylinder, it looks smaller than the previous generation, also the front end bulge is ugly.

I’m picking up my ‘24 RX350 AWD Luxury in Caviar/Black on Friday! My first Lexus after 22 years of Honda/Acura. I love all the features and the all black combo. It was the perfect size for me! 🙌

I am in the market for a new SVU. 4Runner was on the top of my list, but 4 cylinder turbo? No thanks! I go for my second choice which is a 2025 Honda Pilot.

Without a weight being disclosed.. The horsepower increase won't be relevant. It's all about power to weight ratio. If it's not even a mile per hour or quarter second faster in a quarter mile or not, even a half a second faster 0 to 60 then then it is absolutely not worth buying, especially losing the bulletproof V6.

I am disappointed. Our 2014 Lexus has 2 way lumar on the passanger- no suprise that this does. The all-black interior looks very plain. There should be a light in the center console. Electric door handles seem to be lacking a good enough use. Rear climate is lacking- should have own fan speed. Too much piano black. Grab handles and other interior parts are lacking the luxury feel of our 2014 (particualrly the armrest in the rear). The dial for heated and vented seats in our 2014 is much better than these screen buttons. Start-stop button is in an unnatural position- 2014 has the perfect position. Climate dials look like a copy from Ford. You should not have to pay for navigation in a luxury vehicle. Our 2014 still has it and we haven't paid a dime. 2014 also has a cupholder on the driver side vent and I think all vehicles should have that. Lexus does not have compeition with other brands... it has compeition with itself.

No fan of the 4 cylinder engine. Also they should make the rear hatch window manual open like FJ and put the spare tire on the hatch door instead of underneath the trunk. Makes life so much easier.

Every vehicle review on Utube spends 90% of the time discussing infotainment options and how many USB ports it has. The meat and potatoes of the vehicle is drivetrain, suspension, durability and dependability. That's where the focus should be.

5 th Gen isnt as slow as its made out to be. Its the throttle lag caused by the electronic throttle control. They sell plug and play harness like pedal comander to remedy. Want a fast SUV? go for a porsche with 2 turbos. ( Nightmare)Lol! Simplicity = reliability.

Toyota has disappointed us again by putting a 4 cylinder turbo in the new 4Runner. It looks good with the new design, but I am disappointed in the new engne. Will it be reliable? I doubt it.

Toyota has leg rests in 2nd row for tall people and for comfortable lounging on rests or long trips . New Odyssey looks tight and shorter like a wagon than the older models. People want head room to move around like a true mini van. I'm sure both are wonderful. Toyota Siena's are hybrids and we have first generation Toyota Avalon hybrid. Ten years driving it and it still drives like a new car. Almost 300,000 miles on it. Awesome traveling car. Very reliable and quiet car.

Not a great demo as a steeper hill you will see a much greater difference between it working well or not Arb4x4 about 15 years ago did a test of lsd, traction control and arb lockers worth looking at

Instead of 9 trim levels, how about 3 trim levels with 3 engine options, turbo four-cylinder, V6 and small V8. SR5 comes loaded and street oriented. TRD Off Road is the current Pro. Limited comes loaded with real leather, 20 wheels HUD. 6 cylinder and V-8 come with sunroof. No other option group needed.

The V6 wasn’t the problem it was the 5 speed transmission that makes it feel slower than what it is. I have a 23 and doesn’t feel sluggish going up a mountain at all.
