I catered for them tonight, reunion on the last members 🍻. I seen them live at the Shrewsbury flower show when I was a wee bairn, now I have cooked for them at 55 yrs old 😁👍🏴

Oh, this was delightful! (I do have to agree that the Ragtime music didn't quite fit the Art Deco setting ... George Gershwin or Cole Porter would more more suitable.

I was fortunate enough to take part in a couple of 'joint displays' with The White Helmets when I was a member of The Imps Schoolboy Motorcycle Display Team (many, many years ago 😂😂). It was an absolute honour and a privilege to be able to perform with the most famous motorcycle display team in the world. They were absolute professionals and a really nice bunch of guys. A great memory.

I last visited in 2013 and i remember some of the mennequins spooked my youger siblings (especialy the ones in the surgery room) but it was very interesting to see the inside of these interesting huge peices of technology

My local, I really miss it. On a stormy winter's Sunday afternoon 'supping' a pint of Cider relaxing on the leather Sofa, watching the spray drift over Chesil & the beach road. Walking out the front door and being buffeted by the cross-winds No pub around like that now....They sold inscribed beer glasses on the last week of trade, i have a few 😞😞🥲😢treasured memories
