You know if it wasn't Rue teaching Duck how to do the Pas De Deux she would have never been able to save Mytho from his limbo state and Kraehe would have won. Ladies and Gentlemen this is how you write a genuine teacher/student dynamic between hero and villain similar to Oni and Chase Young, that's some great writing The sisterly bond between these two is beautiful.

Funny thing is, she only chooses Duck to stick it to Ant Eaterina, but by the end of the series I could see her genuinly choosing Duck as her partner over any of the more-talented dancers XD

The whole point of it is that rue knows she is princess tutu... its a poetic scene. Neither of them are real people; think about how the director portrays them and not a romance...
