If it asking you for channel page usually there is little arrow on the top you can press to get menu to choose from...But if you use iPhone i am not sure if there is one also because I use Android

The blue one bluetooth scanner stopped to work on my smartphone. It worked before, but not anymore. So from now on, I wont use any of those bluetooth scanners anymore.

Thank you for posting, I have learnt a lot from your videos. I bought a used Toyota Hilux 2011 and wanting a scanner that will tell me if the odometer has been tampered with. One with access to multiple control modules, not just the engine. Would the Veepeak bluetooth Android scanner be able to do this?

Veepeak won't be able to find mileage tamper because you need full live data function. However on 2011 cars I doubt you can find more than 1 mileage record anyway.

Hi, great info for newbie's! I picked up the Veepeak BLE+ Bluetooth 4 per one of your recommendations and the car scanner ELM 327 While trying it on a 98 Firebird with check engine light on I got a couple of codes, one of which was leak on the evap sytem I think it was P0442?.. and so I cleared the code and engine light went off. After restart the engine light came back on but now I don't get the code coming up? Do you know if there is a fix for that? Thanks!

If you have check engine light there must be code stored in ECU. I think this can be some bug with car scanner app. If you have other code reader try it, or at least different app if it displays any code.

VCDS is reliable however all the data can be changed with tools like VCP so then you won't find out about mileage fraud if they changed it.

Navigate to module 53: Parking Brake Control Unit. For basic settings, use Channel 7 to open the brakes. After changing the brake pads, use Channel 6 to close the brakes.

I have this App with the ELM327 and found which cylinder was misfiring. Just up graded to PRO version for graphing facilities, well pleased with it, bargain price for what you get. Don't have the coding facility? my car is Mitsubishi Lamcer 2006.

Hi. Thanks very much for the information video. I got the same scanner and using this car-scanner pro software which is great. I managed to activate opening the windows with the fob.on my toyota highlander. I want to close them also with the fob but this is not showing as an option. Is there any way of doing it because i have seen people doing that with toyota in some videos. Thanks
