I'm also a current medical student, currently living in Gallery Cityplace. I know like 3 other people in my class who live in my building and a resident I worked with. There are even more people I know who I know who live in the other similar apartments owned by the same company.

40 years ago, Allentown and Youngstown Ohio were heading on the same path as towns projected as being steel towns being shut down. Today, Allentown is booming and Youngstown has fallen apart.... You deserve to brag Allentown.

I find this lame attempt to say Allentown is alive, is fucking comical! Allentown use to be a nice place to live like 45 years ago on back! The original inhabitants , my ancestors, were displaced by poor minorities and section 8 housing! Hell, no one speaks English there! I'm so glad I left 25 years ago and I have no regrets ! I just love watching the train wreck of this shitty town from far, far away!

Yeah Allentown is on the rise. The cost of living in Allentown is high as shit. After living in Allentown for 2 months, I got the hell up out of there fast. I was paying $900 a month for an apartment. I noticed houses fo sale for just shy of a million but 300,000 dollars for the same style house in central Pennsylvania. I moved to leesport Pennsylvania and got a really nice apartment with 2 bedrooms for $600 a month. I lived there for 4 years. I don't visit or stop in Allentown for anything or any reason. Now i rent a 3 bedroom house with a big yard, garage and all for $12,00 a month. The same house in Allentown would probably be $16,00 a month if not more. So all of yal can have that high priced city. The title fits the discription of the city very well, Allentown is on the rise...
