someone please agree with me that this florence performance has a baroque inspiration. all the exaggerated motion, poweful golden light, drama tension, etc. Rio's Sao Bento Monastery interiors image fits exactly to what I mean. Look at it!

Incredible voice, but she was obviously uncomfortable with all that production, dancers...the part she start jumping and running was very funny lol Florence is obviously a great singer who doesn't need all of those allegorical crap...so much better to see her running wild trough a stage on a festival. That's why she is so vastly superior to all of those american pop divas

As she had to hold such a long note she is better off NOT dancing round. You try holding a note in a single breath for 15 seconds like she did at 2:51

I don't contest the fact that she is an amazing singer. If I did why would I've been here ? It's just a shame for her cause her performance would be really much better if she was dancing and not half-hidden by dozens of people around her. That's just what I think watching this vid in which, we agree, her singing is magical.

My point is why do good singers need to dance? She's a singer not a dancer. Her dancing wouldn't make the performance any better.

We cannot really say that she is dancing. She's just putting one arm up, walking, and then jumping.... as she uses to on stage... :)
