Have you replaced the differential covers with aluminum ones? I've seen some opinions that the bearings are falling apart and damaging the differential cover, but I noticed that only people with the electric version have this problem. I ordered my model, I can't wait for it to arrive.

@@deequsan7491 if you leave it stock the diff housing is ok. More power and you need the aluminum. In my later video I did put aluminum on

@@keyriekalyan9273 if it's not starting you probably live in a higher elevation or hot Temp. They are set rich from the factory for break in sea level 70 degrees. Sounds like you need to lean the mixture screws

I’m sorry I thought you said 30% amsoil nitro fuel. If that wasn’t a mistake do you mind putting a link up I have never heard of it or can I find it on line. Unless you are mixing it yourself

Yeah it will wheelie. I was keeping the front end down so I didn't ruin the body. Going to make a wheelie bar of some sort unless they make one

Why did you decide to swap it to electric? Were you having problems with the gas motor or just personal preference? The reason I ask is I was thinking about buying this truck from redcat but got kinda scared away by the reviews. I noticed that based on your videos, you've had this truck for about 2 years. What's your experience with it?

The truck worked perfectly fine for 2 years and about 4 gallons of gas. The only thing I don't like about it is its break system is not the best as most 1/5th scale have 2 brakes this only has one. And the other was the throttle linkage, its flimsy and will warp and cause the engine to rev slightly when you hit the breaks. The other issues were pretty typical for a gas rig mainly screws vibrating out, but I have yet to break a single part. The reason for converting it to electric is I like it so much I wanted one of each and I like to build stuff lol. I'm in the process of grabbing another one and will be putting a bigger engine in it with the buggy gear ratio.

Great video, no stupid music! Soo many options for these Bajas, I own 4. 2 speed transmissions, tons of gearing options, my shorty has a 29cc engine, my biggest baja runs a 45cc with monster truck tires on back. I also own several 4 wheel drive trucks, but bajas are the most fun by far, especially for the price!

So what does the title of your video "VELOCITY STACK AIR FILTER MOD RIP" have anything to do with your running around with the thing ?🤷‍♂️...I mean for all "we" know, you never installed anything, and you're just doing donuts, smacking into poles, and lifting up a bunch of dust with the OEM intake..also, if you did in fact install a velocity stack and a new style air filter, why didn't you show the install and how it looks after the install, maybe give the item's info so viewers can maybe purchase the item? 🤷‍♂️..but nope, you just burn gas and give no info whatsoever 🙄😒...I don't do videos on KZfaq, but if I did, I'd stick to the topic and show the item(s), how they fit and look on the motor and then, run it...but of course, that's just me...🤣🤣

RIP is known to most hobbyists as a term for testing, or taking it for a drive. If you looked at the thumbnail it clearly says TEST. Its pretty obvious you are ignorant to a lot of things RC and Internet based so I would keep your comments to yourself. You didn't even look in the link in the description where I have the parts listed. I do this for fun, and apparently you take things way to seriously and need to go get some help. I'll pray for you.

They are 4x4 Traxxas Stampede tires. I got them off of Amainhobbies. Make sure they are for the 4x4 as they are different to the 2x4 so the rims don't fit.

The Traxxas fuel is fine. I have run it for years in the Traxxas I have. A lot of the brands are actually made by the same company so they are comparable.

That rig needs a tune bad it's to rich sounds really bogs, no tourqe lean it out a bit and turn the idle down. If you tuned it it would alot better. That's definitely a bog master no power from the start its hard to watch.if you want ill send a vid on mine, mine runs 10 times better and yours can to

It's not too rich the carb on these sucks and don't hold tune. The revving is the crappy throttle linkage that bends when you hit the brakes and lightly applies throttle. I'm guessing you watched the first 3 minutes before I tuned it and didn't actually watch the video so you didn't see

The new Kaiju is better. It comes with a steel spur. The spur is all I ever ruined on it.

@@Fernandes352 yeah I have heard it's hard to tune the clutch shift points and if you are running higher HP it won't hold up to much more than stock power.

@@_beastmode_rc You have a good point and that is why I got it myself. I had to modify and reweld the brackets and then everything cleared. It will still heat the cage enough to make it soft and move the light wires lol. i learned the hard way.

Yeah if they are ec5 or ic5. They have to be pretty small 3s to get 2 to fit without lifting the body
