@@blueroomacademy One more question: I cannot find the link of the project in the description. :(
@bierbuik1232 ай бұрын
Hi, quick question; in what order do you tend to create your sections? Drums, Bass or your Synth?
@blueroomacademy2 ай бұрын
I always start with the bass. First I’ll choose a nice kick, then I’ll start making a basic bassline pattern. Then I’ll make some basic drums, and then I start the synth stuff and FX. I always try build the track core foundation (a nice groove), then start polishing it up with some finishing touches. Once the idea is there, I’ll change the bassline a bit, maybe add in some extra drum samples, and add more synths and stuff. So in order it would be: 1. Bass 2. Drums 3. Synths 4. Adding extra stuff to the bass, drums and synths

which sylenth preset is it ?
@blueroomacademy2 ай бұрын
Factory sylenth preset, called ARP 303 Pulse. All I did was turn off the arp and changed the ADSR 🙌

Thank you but what is the exact name of the operator preset in the video ? I could not find it.
@blueroomacademy2 ай бұрын
I made that bass from scratch in operator, it isn’t a preset 💪 just copy my settings that I showed in the video, it’s a saw wave with a lowpass filter, little bit of resonance and a strong envelope

Great video! Was looking for a video like this, since i would really like to produce music in the same style as luke & max dean (and other artists with the same style. Do you have recommendations for some good sample packs that go along with this style? And where did you get the triangle loop en cowbell samples from? Since these are not samples that you see in a sample pack very often. Thanks!
@blueroomacademy3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment man! 🙌 any of the Sample Market sample packs are really good for this style , you should go check them out

Hey Luke ! I've tried to reply in the UK minimal video but for some reason Y/T won't let me.. so basically I was saying that I was : Pleasantly surprised to see that you covered most of my sounds of the moment in your channel so far ! The kolter video, the PIV sound, UK minimal and the heavy house one which I didn't even know was a thing.. I just called it house 😂 Can't wait for the upcoming ones 🙏 And check you I/G D/Ms for something quiet interesting there.. PS : this tune is an absolute hit and you should definitely release it !! Would love to play this on my next set !

I've been seriously digging this sound for the past couple months, I could identify all the elements but couldn't put a name on this genre because all I wanted was to dig some more ! I just called it "the UK sound" but I think UK minimal is a pretty accurate description.. other artists doing this are L.P. Rhythm, Paige Tomlinson, Dimmish and Gaskin.. they usually release under the "Dansu Discs" or "Bass Jamz" labels. Great tutorial !! Would love to see more of the "UK sound" such as the old school things Robbie Doherty is doing or those Ozzie Guven crazy hip-house kinda sounds ! Thanks again 🙏🏻 seriously appreciate your work !
@blueroomacademy3 ай бұрын
You’re very correct there mate, I’ve also been digging this sound for quite some time now. I’ve noticed those artists you mentioned use a lot of sounds coming from the 90s, whether it be synthesisers, samples or drum machines. It’s a very raw sound almost emulating the sound of early house music when it first came to the UK, except it sounds way more polished today. I also used to call this the “UK sound”, but called it UK minimal because most of the artists pushing this sound have a minimal background and still incorporate those minimal elements into this style today. Very sharp ear you have there and thanks so much for the kind words mate I really appreciate it and I’m glad this proved helpful for you 🙏 I’m going to be pushing this sound a lot more on the channel, I’m currently working on RUZE and Robbie Doherty tutorials as we speak
