I've played a lot of Guitars at this price point and I have to be honest, I'm usually wondering what extra I'm getting for all of that money but I just don't see it. I can make a Guitar 10% of that price look, sound and play just as nice.

By far ... Fender absolutely makes the worst replicas. It's not even close. Sometimes I'm fascinated at how bad their reissues are. Remember ... They had to reissue the Joe Strummer .... 4X. 4X ... And when they finally produced something that looked decent, they wanted 20 grand for it. I built my own Strummer copy, from a Squire Sunburst, $149.00, 20-years ago, for a total of $250, including all new hardware, that puts theirs to shame. At this point they're just embarrassing themselves
