No, yours is 1095, you have the old logo on it, they were 1095 back in those days and shortly after, then they switched to 5160, then finally 1075. I hate when OKC does this without telling people so I had to go on a deep dive to find out which steel my RTAKII is made from.

@@KnivesSurvival I hope you kept it in mint condition and bought a newer one. I paid significantly more for mine because it's a 125th Anniversary Collectors edition. I really don't want to use it considering OKC has closed it's doors and these ones could be worth money someday but I only have one of these, I know where I could find another 125th Edition but I have to use mine in the meantime, I can't let it just sit as part of some collection because if I have to get up and leave, I take the things I use the most with me. So far it's been great, I try not to scuff it up so much but I definitely prefer this knife over the Junglas.

nice man. i recently ordered myself a new custom 110 off the buck website as an early birthday present for myself. it should be arriving sometime late august or early september. i made it so it came with the nickel bolsters, drop point sv30 blade, with cherry wood finger groove style handle. i did put some identification engravings and a quote from my late grandmother to honor her memory as she was someone i held very dear to me. the knife sure was a heavy penny, but i love the 110 so i had no issues chucking some of my money for another reliable keepsake

Hi: I have the 110 black with silver bolsters, and it looks magnificent however I have it with the 420 blade. I am giving it to my son and ordering a 110 with s30v blade, which I prefer. I also have a 112 auto elite with the S30V blade which is magnificent also in black with the silver bolsters. I hope to order a 110 auto elite in Ebony with the silver bolsters soon. I am not too fond of the brown and brass bolster 110, even though I do have one. The Ebony with the silver bolsters makes the knife look stunning and truly a showpiece! This is the first time I’ve watched one of your videos and did enjoy it. I will look for your other ones.

The problem with these Pakistan knives is that you have no idea what the steel is. I doubt it's what they claim. You have to understand that in Pakistan, it's normal for them to use steel from salvaged car parts to make knives. On top of that, their heat treating is extremely primitive as rolling on staples suggests. You're better off getting a cheap 8cr13 fixed blade from China. Or better yet spend $60 and get a buck 119. It's 420 hc but at least it's heat treated right.

Never had to fight a Griz but I got myself a bit turned around on an Elk hunt once and having a knife to build shelter and process firewood made life a lot more comfortable. It did snow overnight, I didn't sleep well but I was warm and dry. Still get some grief about it from my hunting pards. Me rolling back into camp late wasn't unusual so no one missed me. In the light of day I recognized where I was and all the wrong choices I had to make to get myself in that predicament. Didn't put a tag on anything but I did get a good story out of it.

@@KnivesSurvival The fixed blade I had was a Western W84 if I recall correctly and a Western 541 lockback too. It was a near perfect day of hunting too. I had a spike only tag and spent most of the day stalking a prime candidate trying to get a better look. A 1" kicker would have made him a branch antlered Elk and illegal for me to shoot so I had to be 100% sure. SO much fun! I was within smelling distance of him multiple times, darkness ultimately ended my day's hunt. Thinking camp was just over the ridge I started back in the direction I thought it was. When I didn't find camp I assumed I had gone farther chasing that Elk than I thought. Over another ridge and then another before I admitted I had no idea where I was. I knew there was an east west road to the north of me I set out in that direction. I allotted myself a half hour more travel to find the road before a mandatory bivouac. As it turned out I wasn't that far from the road (jeep trail) but after that many bad guesses and fatigue setting in I finally admitted it was better to find a place to bivouac.
