I did end up retuning. But with 45s it’ll be just fine to leave alone for a bit. I always recommend keeping it turned down for towing especially

@@kingfabandoffroad8203 Also another question…when taking the ex rocker arms off does it matter where they are at… in terms of being compressed or not?
@kingfabandoffroad820326 күн бұрын
@nickylape8264 typically people say to always have them not loaded simply so you don’t mess up the treads on the hold down bolts. On removal not really an issue, but always a good practice when going back together. And I always like to keep everything in the same spot. And be carefully and thorough with your valve lash when done.

upgrade your 1st Gen Tacoma door handles with Trubuilt Tacoma Metal Handles for durable replacements!
@gwebocelestron9194Ай бұрын
Ten years in my door handle broke just like yours on my 2001 Tacoma. My fix - baling wire. All you need is about 5 inch length of baling wire. Drill two 1/8 inch holes from the outside handle part through the inside handle part. Run the wire through both holes and twist the wire with your fence pliers. Clip off the excess wire. 13 years later still working great. I left the wire a little long. Makes for a great anti-car jacking device. Anyone trying to grab the handle quickly to jack my car is going to get shredded fingers.

I know its been a while, but to get the front seats out you have to undo the 4 bottom buckles. Then the belts will just through the holes in the seat. Fat pain with 1 person, not bad with 2. You need both hands to hold the springs down to have somone else easily pull the belt out.
