however for me the most beautiful series ever produced by Case International is the XL series, those are excellently made tractors that they no longer produce because they didn't break easily to sell new tractors 😂😂😂

I've never run a Challenger, but I've had the privilege of running the Magnums ALOT back in their hayday...the farm i worked at had 3 new ones. (2) 7140s and a 7120 all with FWA. They were absolute beasts and we used them for chisel plowing, spreading manure, grain cart in the fall...still my all time favorite tractor and im a JD guy lol.

Our farms runs all Case machines other than one CAT 75c, comfort and traction wise i will take the cat over any of the tired machines, but i would rather run a quadtrac over the cat anytime, its not a very fair comparison thought because the quadtrac is a decade newer and has a 100hp advantage on the cat

We had a Case Dealer in our town (Decatur) for a few years, it went out of business in the early 1970's. We also had an IH Dealer too, it also went out in the early 1970's. Both buildings are still around, but if you didn't know what you are looking for you would never know it. There is still an IH Dealer in the next town (Dowagiac).

About the only people that won out of this whole ordeal were the Case dealers that managed to survive the merger. They finally had a full line of equipment under one flag again vs. just having tractors and a few tillage tools available after Case decided to kill off most of their line to focus on tractors.

My neighbor is a farmer, and has used a CX90 for over 20 years. It's an open station 2wd, but the exhaust is off to the side like it was previously a cab unit. It's kind of unusual because I've never seen another one like it. I'd like to ask him about that.

This video did nothing to convince me of anything. Sure the Magnums were fantastic tractors, but this video was an unnecessary production. They should have been comparing two tracked machines.

I’ve run both a cat 75c and a quadtrac and from my experience in the field the quadtrac gets better traction and is more comfortable, the cat is more comfortable on the road though those older quadtracs will beat you to death if you ain’t careful lol

Looking from the outside, I always see the rivalry between green & red guys. I know this applies to other examples, too, like Ford vs. Chevy. If one was better than the other, why are both companies still in business is my thought?

Neighbor had a case ih back in the day with a snapped axle. They switched to Deere after that
@MF175mp
@MF175mp 7 күн бұрын
@@joshualklein The axle is not an issue to repair. It's the overly complicated internals when/if something goes wrong with them. Many brands have problems with straw walker bearings for example, not familiar with deere though. Also It's posssible to wreck the walkers if the clogging alarm doesn't work, I saw one small Deere that had done that a couple years back. The fuse was blown or there was a bad contact so the alarm didn't sound, even though It's a NC circuit that should be pretty good since it makes the alarm go off when the connection fails instead of just not working...

CIH Selling grain quality and that's it, nothing else was better. A good operator could dial in the deere to get close. CIH had them beat there but a lot of other things weren't. Both dealer lots had plenty of opposition color, i personality know of several guys all red with green machine and vise versa. It took some art and skill to dial in the JD, that was their issue, guys got frustrated in adverse conditions while the CIA performed better. As far as machine threshing capacity, CIA matched the 9600 16 years later with the 7000 series

Deere has way better Straw Quality !!!!! 😂😂😂 the Bales would hold together as a 13 year old Grunt in the 90’S I can testify 😂😂😂😂 Red one had a Cooler sound!!! 😂
@jlkkauffman7942
@jlkkauffman7942 Ай бұрын
that's simply due to the design, rotary combines naturally broke the straw up more which is what we wanted because we don't bale the straw, however if you can get it baled out of a rotary machine the bales spread a lot nicer than the longer stem.
