These cannot be stacked but they are manufactured in different styles and heights. I’m pretty sure there are 9 and 12 inch tall ones now. Thanks for watching!

Why screw the flats and not the ridges?
@LancoAmish2 күн бұрын
The flats are manufacturer recommended. Most manufacturers recommend them in the flats. Makes for a more watertight and secure installation.

@@LancoAmish Ok thanks. I used Vic West (Super Vic) on my garage recently and they recommend the ribs for that product. The reason they claim is that if a screw fails the ribs are less likely to leak due to the shape.

I read a couple of pages of comments and didn't see this addressed at all: but you're locked in with those lengths, yes? Like, the width of your hedge row seemed to fit perfectly with the dimensions this product comes in ... but what if it didn't? What if you needed to extend it 10 more inches? It seems like you're SOL with this product. But if your project matches rigid dimensions, this seems like an ok solution.

Well, these animals are amazing. The farmer is amazing. Nicely done video. I still remember being on the tractor, the Styled John Deere A or the Massey Harris, Jr. watching the neighbors on the NW corner of Bristol and Duffield Rds near Lennon, MI put up hay with their big horses in the early 50s. I think they're houses on the spot today. Can't go back. Tractors finally overtook horses for field work about 1954. Godspeed...
@klauskarbaumer63026 күн бұрын
I know why you write 'horses', but they actually are mules and they cover many miles here at a swift pace in this big field. When they were mowing either the rye was lodged at places or the mower got clogged as one sees entire strips not cut.

Thanks for watching. Strong local community and family ties are one of the main tenets of the plain communities. They feel the ownership of personal vehicles would fracture that closeness. People in the greater society lament the loss of community and family closeness. The greater advent of personal vehicles and highways especially after WW2 was the point where communities started to disintegrate.

I left their religion seventeen years ago. I miss a lot of their ways. Having studied philosophy, I’ve come to the conclusion, there are things we can’t change. Men have felt the same about having someone to care for, and reciprocation, just like they have for the past two thousand years. There are oddities, but without seeing a better format elsewhere, tradition will dominate. Oh! And I found that video. #51. The song runs from 2:11 to 4:01. Thanks again!

I have dealt with a lot of Amish ever since I came to the USA more than 30 years ago, but they would be the last people to "scam " you for generating money. They have weaknesses and flaws like other people, but they definitely are among the most honest people I have ever met.

Thanks for watching. Check out my other content. Vertical silo storage and silage bag. Not trying to be snarky, but how would you suggest the corn be processed without the use of an engine? Being eco- friendly wasn’t much of a consideration in the method chosen.
