I dont know if 'mother' is a good example of unconditional love to people who were used, abused,and abandoned. Humans who cultivate addiction, manipulation, anger, etc i think are majority not minority, which is why society is in its present state of unhealthy mind. I respect what you are saying -especially knowing its through Buddha's teaching- but how things 'could be' and how 'they are' feels like clutching to a fantasy of an idea of what humans 'could be'. If a bear had wings it could fly. If a leopard had 8 legs it could run faster than a speeding train. If humans were kind things would be better. But...truth is they are not. We struggle to be 'good' and even those who proclaim to be 'good' do bad things, make destructive decisions, use people then dispose of them, spread rumors, compete..and to try not to exercise these traits and behaviours risks having no defence against those who do, so it never really changes

Rinpoche, my dear teacher, you came to Vancouver UBC in 2015, blessed me with your wisdom and strength. I was struggling to get into college. Thank you for your encouragement. Now, I got offered from UBC a few days ago. I am successful to transfer in my third year study. Thank you❤ you lift me up. I believe you can live up ××× years, pray for your Longevity. ❤❤❤
