What can you tell me about this subdivision, I want to know everything! I know CSX recently sold it, but I don't know the when/ where to go rail fanning or what they commonly pull.

Unfortunately, I don’t know much. Best I can tell, there’s a Monday-Friday manifest that passes through Tallahassee eastbound between 8-10a and westbound between 4-6p. There is more traffic, but not sure how often or when.

@@MissRailfan yes, i was on 43 yesterday! apparently somebody who wasn't suppose to ger on the train, got on. so when that was figured out, i moved back to my seat in business class lol

SD70M-2s are 74’ long. The wide angle lens I used likely distorted the image a bit making them look even longer. Thanks for watching!

Trains on fire, wheel bearings burning up, what is going on with our rail infrastructure? The hot wheel detectors help but only work in twenty-mile increments. Inferior steel? Improper heat-resistant grease? I don't know, but I do know this. Bring back the caboose. Their job in the past is exactly what you need now. A man up in the copula can smell, and see hot wheels burning. Just thinking back inside the box. I would love to retire and ride a caboose. LOL
