I wish these were made in unreal engine, like titanic honor and glory. I wanna walk through the whole city that was.

The biggest monument in the world... to human barbarism and cruelty. How can this slaughter house be admired tells everything about our society. Trajan held 123 days of games to celebrate his Dacian victory. They involved "fully 10,000" gladiators and the slaughter of thousands, "possibly tens of thousands," of animals, both wild and domestic

Hmm... Dunno... Would be hard to see scene because of cotton banners During that time people was practical, but here everything smells with modern style Also huge statues was colored, and there was no so unreasonable amount, because statues represented real people with achievements...

The hanging drapes are preposterous. They didn't do that.

Wow. I knew they had sunshades, and that part’s very impressive, but all those hanging banners must have made watching impossible for the women, slaves, and poors in the higher rows.

Fabulous environmental effects on this one. All the wonderful models, and we 've some this good before... but the rendering of the light and atmosphere, not to mention the animation and camera work, makes it super realistic. High art and fascinating connection to history!

Looks nice but…Vespasian began construction of the amphitheatre around AD 70 and it was completed by his son Titus, who became emperor following Vespasian's death in AD 79

Considering the first opera wasn't until the late 1500's, the music doesn't line up at all. Why not just use approximations of ancient roman music like in HBO's Rome? Putting opera to murdering each other doesn't make it "classy", this is history, not John Wick.

Just like modern stadiums. Those damn banners obscure the view for those of us who can only afford to sit at the top.

Vatican is in possession of a so called Chronivisor - a time travel device (on top of loads of very important and extremely interesting written materials about Earth, its previous civilizations and history that it doesn’t want general public to know about). Here is a link to a good video about Vatican’s Chronivisor kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q5h7p8SAz9naj4E.htmlsi=1VID-WZujX6zetLe So, it’s actually possible to visit that exact time in person. - But for now, this video is EXCELLENT. Thank you!
