To be honest the series would have been much better had they started boruto after naruto's death, you know something like avatar legend of korra. Solidifying old fanbase its hero and there would have probably less complaints on series as a whole since the entire reason the story was dragged through mud because it took favourite characters that were over two decades old, despite knowing how attached people would have to them and shred them to pieces.
