I was excited to watch this video until the first 2 minutes were just bible talk. With all due respect, and I mean this in the most sincere way, but we all aren't going to have the same beliefs, and making that the opening emphasis of your video pushed me away(and maybe that's what you want). i used to have a srt4 but i blew the head gasket beating on it after about a year lol i drove it really hard so i dont blame anyone but myself lol. but ive switched over to hondas now. i have a rsx type s that i put arp head studs and springs and retainers then boosted it. tuned it on a hondata s300 with just a 400 dollar ebay turbo some 750cc injectors on e85 with a hood exit lmao. its loud as shit lol. it hit 467whp on the dyno at 16 pounds of boost and the tuner said it could probly hit 600 if he pushed it to 25 pounds but i had a goal of 450 lol. i have it turned down to 12-13 pounds right now and its around 400whp i think but ive been beating the shit out of it for 4 years now and it hasnt had any problems besides small stuff and regular maintence. k20's really are just incredible motor's. not including the car and a few parts i got from a buddy like the hondata wastegate and the and BOV i spent maybe 2k plus the tune all together. i beat hellcats and other stuff all the time its hilarious. i want to make it a AWD eventually i just havnt had the time really to do it.

Thats pretty neat. The K20s are awesome engines. I have a 2008 Mugen Civic Si. Im in the planning stages of a K24A2 swap in it. It's not an elective swap, but I wanted to do it anyway. It's how it should've come from the factory.

Love to hear from someone that has history with the WRX. How do you like the new compare to the old, I had the 2009 and I love the way its steering wheel feel, it suit me just right, I missed it so much. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the reply! I actually feel like the new one is quite similar to the old one. Everything just feels a lot lighter, such as steering effort, and clutch effort. The car just feels planted like a WRX should though. One thing I thought was cool is that I was able to hop right into the new car and heel toe downshift it immediately. The driving position feels the same, and it still has a manual e-brake too. For me the biggest difference is my older 2010 just feels more raw, and more visceral if that makes sense? My old 2004 wagon felt even more that way. I think the biggest reason why is just the mods done to the older cars. The new car is just so quiet and unassuming. The new WRX also doesn't have hardly any turbo lag and runs 12psi max bone stock. You don't have to drive it like an older turbo car being as mindful of the rpms related to turbo lag. I think that's the best way I can explain it.

I've had my 04 Srt4 for 19 years now. Few mods. Just bought a 2018 Focus RS but still going to keep the neon. Can't beat the neon for cheap speed and a mean nasty exhaust sound.

It sure is! This event is my favorite to attend each year. I went to the actual race this year for the first time and there were even more cool unique cars at the track. There was a McLaren F1 GTR, and an ex GT500 JGTC Skyline R34. Pretty cool stuff! Thanks for checking out my video too!

I remember driving in San Fran first time, I had a 17 Chevy Spark with a CVT. My sister was in the back seat screaming her lungs out scared as fuck as we went up the steep ass hills. She was like "OMFG WE'RE GONNA FUCKING FLIP OVER IN THIS SMALL ASS FUCKING CAR " while gripping onto the headrests. That was so funny but it did feel a bit scary

The steepest hill I've driven up & down regular is about 45 to 60 degrees is Broadway Cotswold's going up your reduced to second or third gear with gravel pits along side road for cars that don't make it staying on the road, Doing a hill start without using handbrake holding on biting of clutch is fun

I know I'm late but did your friend's car have any drone in the cabin? The buzzing that you can feel/hear in your ears? Was it easy to have a conversation in the car while riding in it?

Yes the car was very loud inside. Not buzzy but very droney. It was pretty bad on the highway. He has since removed the mbrp muffler and went full 3" catless. It now is not droney at all on the highway anymore, but it does have a bad raspy sound at about 3k rpms.

I'll never complain about the hills we get around here in ontario. I think the worst street in my city is about 12% and you'd rarely ever be stopping on that section. The more common hills probably more like 5 or less
