I've never, in 75 years, relaxed my hair. after one appointment, when I just wanted a different look. 2 days later after I shampooed and conditioned my hair my hair was bone straight. 2 weeks later, after multiple shampoos my curl pattern is gone. a friend noticed a smell in my hair and said it was a relaxer smell.

Yeah, because my girl, Courtney man, she built that shit from the bottom up, and she said she was the boss that was so top dog of her. I love that and her, but when she sold out for whatever her reason was, she can’t say she, the boss no more you know how inspirational that was to people like myself and other women of color, my feelings are hurt to the bone

Oh I certainly do question white women's hair! I'm an equal opportunist when I comes to that. I can tell when there are different textures, a wig or weaves... It is, what it is...

Wow! I used Devacurl products occasionally. I could not afford the products to use daily. I have since moved on and shampoo with Prell twice a week to clarify. And Cowash with a cleansing conditioner 4-5 days a week. I always follow up with Camille Rose Curl Love. Then lightly coat my hair with hair grease. I occasionally use a gel; Camille Rose Curl Maker. My hair is thriving!

It's so amazing to see you posting again! Honestly I had to blink twice when I saw the notification in my inbox 😂 Truly have loved watching you go through this journey, and to be a part of it. Once again I have to say your products are saving my hair, and now my brother loves them too! So it looks like I might have to pick up another hair mask before he gobbles up mine 😭 (Yes it's the same person on Instagram my name is literally my dogs name on all socials because I'm not creative)

It isn't about healthy hair..it's dead the minute it leaves your scalp. The only part of your hair that's alive is the cuticle. So, it's the skin on your head that needs to be healthy. Stop clogging your cuticle and pores with grease and allow blood and oxygen there. Let the skin breathe. Don't matter what you are,you do that and your hair will grow

Dominican women living in the US for the most part embrace their natural hair. Gen X I say 50/50 (my generation) and millennials and Z embrace is almost 100%. Haven’t been to DR in a while but I know most people don’t accept it. Probably due to internalized self hatred. But girls in DR are breaking through and my guess is that they’ll start copying us here soon and embrace their hair. It’s too hot for all those rollers and straighteners. I’ve been relaxer free for 17 years and I love my curls.

So I used to go to a Dominican hair salon, and as soon as you walk in the door, you smelt burnt hair they were actually burning the black women’s hair out of their head and we didn’t know it much intense heat that is what the problem is and Dominicanssome Dominicans feel like they have to have intense heat in order to straighten black women’s hair.

I hated chemo. But I must say, I am digging my new texture. I'm a 30 year old guy and still young ans in shape. My hair grew back so soft and manageable. I hope mine stay this way. 😊 I had lymphoma so yeah, blood cancer is no joke. But I'm in remission now. May the Lord be praised. He didn't give me cancer but He helped me overcome my trials.

This video talks about creating products that everybody love. Lets be real, our hair is different from other ethnicities. The new owners always change the product and then it no longer works for our hair.

Greetings! The MAIN reason today we’re doubtful of what’s REAL: BECAUSE we see SOOO MANY Women EVERYWHERE wearing: wigs, hair extensions, links, tracks & cheap trickery. 👀 I’m also talking about BABIES! 😢 Seems like MANY Women live a FANTASY wannabe “celebrity” look. Trying to look 👀 like someone ELSE. Come to think of it~everyone looks ALIKE! CopyCats. Celebs AND Commoners!😂 BE thankful the Creator gave us all our UNIQUENESS. STOP trying to look like 🐝! SHE’s an ENTERTAINER & can afford all those hair shenanigans she use for her concerts. 💫 💥 My niece, (who’s a fly-by-night “Natural” Hair Care Entrepreneur!) TRIED to trick me with her BS. I saw her REAL hair 2months ago. Last week the stuff she infused into her hair was down to her butt, claiming it as hers!Yes, she bought it & thinks ppl are stupid (some are-probably!). Hair grows abt 1/2 INCH (average) per month. NOT TWO FEET.🦶🏽🦶🏽 Wearing someone else’s hair, she acts like a phony & is not herself. The other thing I’ve discovered: Many Natural Hair Salons are playing on the word; not really healthily promoting YOUR•NATURAL HAIR. They have BAGS of OTHER ppl’s’ Natural hair & want to APPLY it TO yours, while destroying your ROOTS & scalp ecology! I stay away from them & have done my own for years! 👵🏽❤️

@@sripriyapraveen1929 No problem. Waiting for the hair to come back may be tough, but it's gonna come back. Hang in their bud 😊 My hair also came back white and stick straight. I looked like a hedgehog at first lol! But the hair felt as soft as a rabbit. I kept cutting it though because it was patchy. A couple months later, everything became more uniform. The roots started growing in dark brown while the tips were still white. Now my hair is its original color except for the tips, which I chose to keep and not trim off, but the hair is silky and soft. I'm black and mixed. So this is a very new texture for me. It's cool though!

My sister's natural hair looks like Beyonce's. She's in her 50's with 2 black parents. She takes good care of her hair by going to the salon weekly. Her hairdresser started using some sort of CBD oil on her hair, and it started growing like crazy. There is a salon in LA where ALL of the black women have beautiful long hair. No weaves or wigs. I BELIEVE IT IS HER HAIR. STOP HATING. Money can do almost anything.

Few things about this. I wish people who weren't black women would either ask black women what they really felt and listened or give the mic to a black woman. No one believes her hair is short. We just believe that she uses a better textured hair to sell black women with not such a great texture hair products. That's all and it's not new. It's always what happens with black women with four a through 4C hair or any C type hair. Unless you're like a 2B 3b curl. It's not going to work for you. And everybody showing us pictures of when she was a child means nothing. And I can grow my hair down my back so that's not the issue. I don't like lies... And she lied in a L'Oreal commercial so I don't trust anymore.
