I think Miami would be a good race if they added a Sepang-style chicane at T7-8 much like Sepang's T1-2, could promote another overtaking opportunity

F1 also needs to get rid of (street) tracks with little to no passing. I'm talk to you Monaco. Plus, the lack of consistent (and unpaid) stewarding and drama is why I stop watching 3 years ago. Even when I watched, I thought it was no longer the pinnacle. Big ego problem. Also, extremely greedy.

WEC has less tv ratings and attendance than Indycar… How can it ever be a threat for F1? 😂😂😂😂
@balvadragon31012 сағат бұрын
Dude doesn't understand F1. It's not like IndyCar,NASCAR or WEC. It's about engineering rather than manufacturers. And either you appreciate that or you don't. Cause there are plenty of racing series less focused on engineering,loopholes and freedom of design (even in limitation due to regulations). What your video does is try and turn F1 into IndyCar which would kill the sport entirely. You can't turn IndyCar into F1 either. So with your complaints watch IndyCar it seems to be up your alley more than F1. Which is fine both are great. But it's insultive to try and change F1 into IndyCar which all your points amount too. Just watch IndyCar Mate.

I’ve been watching F1 for a decade now so I do understand F1 completely - and the level of research I have to do for each of these videos is much more than most people would do in a lifetime. But that aside, I actually totally agree with you - F1 is not gonna change much and nor should it - these videos aren’t my opinions, these are based on fan sentiment and really a call to action for people who are complaining to go and watch WEC. There are things I personally think F1 could change, but that’s just my opinion, it’s not fan-based data which these videos are built upon. Not hate, just information. Thanks for watching mate - what did you think of the Monaco GP?

F1 is turning into a gameshow. I've been watching it for around 20 years and the last 5 or 6 years it just keeps getting worse. I think in the end the andretti drama kind of sums everything up, it's not longer about competition, it's about only about money.

Too bad MSC Broke his leg earlier that year . 1998 was incredible - the track LAYOUT for the last 2 corner /chicane combo led to Eddie Irvine stealing 2nd place from Mika Hakkinen. Every other dry race was barely okay. Every wet race here has had plenty of overtakes at unique places on track (long radius turns) The reprofiling of the last sector in subsequent years did not help.

I think F1 needs a rotation system for tracks, of some sort. For example a number of fixated tracks that occur every year (in my opinion it would be Suzuka, Australia, Canada, Monza, Monaco, Catalunya, Silverstone, Azerbaijan, Interlagos, Singapur, Abu Dhabi, Austin), and a number of 10 tracks from the pot of potential tracks that interchange each other. You can make triplets of tracks that rotate in and out of the calendar like (Imola, Mugello, Spielberg; Portimao, Madrid, Jerez; Istanbul, Hungaroring, Balaton Park (not Grade 1 yet but easy to upgrade); Kyalami (see Balaton Park), Sepang, Shanghai; Zandvoort, Spa, Nürburgring; Bahrain, Qatar, Jeddah ; Miami, Las Vegas, Mexico; Paul Ricard, Magny-Cours, Estoril; Indianapolis, Fuji, Korea; Bahrain (alt.), Paul Ricard (alt.), Aragón). The way my example works, there would be 22 races in the calendar each year with 40 tracks featured in a 3 year timespan (the alternative variants are only in the calendar if the regular track isn't present). I admit I was two tracks short to make it 10 triplets, thats where the alternative variants are from.
@jakemorganGP3 күн бұрын
Yeah I agree but from what I’ve heard I think that this wouldn’t work because of the money and contracts that get put in place - it costs so much and there’s a lot of politics involved. I think The Race have mentioned some bits on this before

F1 been ruined in the last few years by drive to survive and new fans. Not all new fans are bad, but drive to survive has brought heaps of fangirls and fanboys, interested exclusively in the drivers themselves and their lives, and naught in the category or racing.

And don’t forget they are there for the drama of the sport. A major issue F1 has to deal with now is how they are going to keep those fans in the sport. They demand certain things (drama and action) and if F1 can’t give it to them then they are going to leave and F1 will be almost back to square one again.
