NIce! Thinking about doing the same. I like that two tone exterior finish as well. They didn't have that option when I purchased my 2023 model... I'm curious, do the outer edges of the cabinet doors and table tops on your trailer have a rough feeling finish, like the ones on my trailer?

The TPMS is working great, the booster is no problem at all and I haven't lost signal at all. So far loving it, not worrying if my tires go flat while Im going down the highway, piece of mind.

Just found your channel. Congratulations on your new Casita ! 🎉 I went and picked mine up in 2020 . It was before the mad covid rush . First thing I removed was that 12 volt disconnect. Bought a much better one and put it inside cabinet. I have more tips if you’re interested? . I live in north Marion county, Fl .Thanks for sharing!😁🇺🇸🇺🇸

@@FAFOWeekendAdventures I don’t know your name ? Anyway, I discovered the one wheel bearing ,Dexter , wasn’t greased very well at all ! Then when I cut an access port hole in my fresh water tank . I use when boon docking. On top of tank to dry it out . Was bits of plastic in tank that was restricting my pump flow . I did buy and add a hitch on back of Casita for bicycle rack. Bought it from Doug Krebs in Texas . Bolts straight to the frame . I’m still using the original battery. I keep my unit plugged in to 30 amp 24/7 in my yard . I put two little dehumidifier’s in it ! Makes a world of difference in this humidity in FL . Also , I did build a cover for it ! Lots of oaks in my yard. Well, hope this helps ya ! Going to watch some of your playlist! 👍👍🇺🇸😁

Oh, forgot one thing ! If you use the impact driver on the scissor jacks . They will fall apart! I didn’t use impact driver and they still broke . Just a heads up !😁👍

Since you removed your negative cable to the auxiliary battery did you have to go buy a larger amperage main battery? How's everything running so far without the auxiliary battery?

@@timcapuchino3563 since I made the video the jeep is still on the same factory battery and everything is running at normal, even pulling my overlan trailer once a month no issues.

Check out the state licensed RV vocational school in Athens, Texas. They offer certification in rv basics for newbies, be a technician, or an inspector, just put in rv school in Google.

See if there is paperwork for the appliances to be completed as they're not built by Casita and might have their own manufacturers warranty and a time limit might exist for the warranty unless you have a warranty with Casita that covers them (fridge, a/c,stove, fans..)

Hello there…. I have a question about your battery issue…I have a 2021 Wrangler Sport S and it appears that my headlights are staying on FULLTIME and I’m wondering if you had the same issue as well….when you first started your jeep I noticed the headlights emblem was on and then you turned it off and then back on again and the headlights emblem was off…..I’m trying diagnose my Jeep so I don’t have to pay a big bill at the dealership

I can’t turn my lights off at all on the switch and I have changed the headlights switch and the ambient light sensor and they remain on….aI might have no choice but to take it to a dealership…I just hate that I don’t have a choice and they are on the second the key is in running position

@@FAFOWeekendAdventures I haven’t modified the battery yet…..I installed true Mods halos headlights and they have been on ever since ….and I have even removed them and REINSTALLED original headlights thinking that was my problem….but they remain on….Im thinking about unplugging battery and aux battery to reset computer to see if that makes a difference

Yeah , no weight distribution hitch for me with my Casita . My F150 is plenty huge enough! I do use a sway bar on it though! Helps a little on interstate driving! 😁

Did you ever connect the backup camera? I didn't see the video on your channel on that. When you ground the green wire (emergency brake wire) to the head unit ground cable, do you remember what the color is for that ground wire? Can that green wire be grounded to the frame? Thanks

I have never connected the backup camera since I purchased the mirror which has the backup camera on it. Its been so long I don't remember what wire is with the green one. If its grounded then you can ground it on the frame.

When we picked up our casita from the factory (in the most pro gun state in America), every entrance had a large sign stating that no firearms are allowed on the property. Made me wonder how many unhappy customers they have had in the past.

We considered a wrap to make our casita look like it was made of granite blocks like the Flintstones cartoon home. Or a travel trailer made of bricks.

It needs to be made clear that the red light on the water heater panel does not stay illuminated when it's operating normally, it's only on during start ups and errors such as not lighting and in the "lockout" mode. That's why so many people don't realize the water heater is on while they are towing. The switch "on" position is also opposite from almost every rocker switch in the modern world It was also hard to hear the amount of torque on the lugnuts but it sounds like he's saying 1 pound instead of the normal 90-120 pounds recommended by Dexter Axles.

@@orhancaliskan105 Correct, before you ask, the start and stop button will continue to function which is not a problem, if you want it off completely you will have to buy a tazer or an eliminator from Amazon

Tried it (disconnected aux battery cable and fuse 42) with my 23 JL sport, and it did NOT disable the auto start stop. I then put the fuse back, but left the aux battery cable disconnected, and that DID disable the auto start stop. And then I reconnected the aux battery cable and pulled the fuse again, and that did NOT disable the auto start stop. I'm confused.

You have to disconnect the fuse and battery cable, the button will still function, you either will have to do it manually or buy a tazer or a disabler
