The day this man passed away, the song. California dreaming was playing in my head and the rain was falling down on me while the sun and blue skies were clear. I think he knew how much I appreciate his music for that to happen to me! At the time I didn't know he passed until the next day!

Playing left handed with a guitar stringed the opposite way… deciphering his chords, pitch perfect singing … such a under rated talent.

People who listen to him here are young people that really dont know his music or what he sounded like 50 yrs ago.

His voice has deteriorated so much over the years, listening to this,...this is about the worst Ive ever heard it. He lost all that power and strong soulful emotion in his voice. He is a shell of his former self. If u listen to his records from the 60s and 70s u know what I mean. My favorite album by him, is "Facts of Life" 1973. That is some of the best rhythm and blues soul music I ever heard and Ive heard a lot. Pure soul ,music.
