Yeah that is not a relay harness and it's not an extension wire either ... I had to use the Xtra wires because the one that is on the car is different. I had to use it for a H11 bulb

@@ricardoespinoza8013 DON'T BUY them brother, they are very cheaply made and the ballast don't last very long. I purchased a new pair and when I received them they were used, very worn and scratched up and smelled of engine grease. I returned them and they only refunded half my money, said that they were broken during return shipping (100% lie) because I found other customers who had the exact same situation happen to them. I went with the DDM LED's 10,000 lumens and are awesome.!!!!

I have the same car I’m trying to make a modification in the whole light system (demon eye, angel eyes with projectors), I’m new in this and I’m watching plenty videos, do I need to install relay to the hid ? Some people say to use it, did you have any problem with the bulbs ??

I just bought a Honda CRV with these set up, but only 1 side works, the Drivers side. I checked bulbs and both bulbs work, now I have no idea what is not working.

Some of the xentec videos show a need for a long "wiring harness" that connects both left and right headlights for the ground but not this one. In which cases would we need a wiring harness? And isn't it safer to ground these systems? I'm just ignorant to the setup. Seeking advise

Those wires are not for relay. Just extension wires. Your explanation of what relays do is correct. Good job explaining things.

Why the fuck would you even bother? The gains from this are absoloutley minimal, if any. If you are going to spend time fiddling with the induction, go cold air intake instead of making the stock air box slightly less restrictive. Ricers.

Pod filters on CAI's are re-usable. Either buy a new one for slightly more than a paper, or wash it.

You are an idiot. Not buying paper filters and using K&N alone covers the cost. K&N filter way better than a paper filter. Stock airbox already draws "cold air" as it is ducted to draw from the front grill. +hp +fuel economy +better sound. No service on it for 50k miles... This mod takes less than 5 minutes, and yields virtually 100% identical gains as an aftermarket CAI. Filter 75$ cad. Aftermarket CAI 350$ cad. A ricer is a person who makes unnecessary modifications to their car to make it (mostly make it look) faster. This is a legitimate performance / economy modification that outperforms the stock filter. Please learn something about cars before commenting "Ricers" and telling people to install a cold air intake on a car that comes from the factory with a cold air intake.

Hi great dyi, let me just add two points: - this procedure does NOT work on "all 3-Series E46 Models between 2000-2006": e.g. my 318i has a circular filter that requires some more handling to detatch and swap; not sure if the difference is down to low/high end engines.. - a little improvement to this op, you might always want to seal the intake hose with some rags/paper as you take away the filter so that nothing goes into the engine; very cheap to do, greatest risks avoided ;) Bye!!

engine degreaser ..brush it it down ..let it soak ..garden hose ...and use engine detailer spray ..done

Good video bro. Just a quick input from my past experience. It's always good to clean your MAF (mass airflow sensor ) with some "CRC" MAF CLEANER when installing a NEW Filter :):):):):);):)
