Hello sir, in my company I want to create over time sheet column like from, to,1.25 and 1.5. If the employee put their over time start in column from and end time in column to. there is a condition if employee work between 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. the rate will be added in column 1.25. and if employee work between 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. overtime work add in 1.5 column. But problem is there is if employee work between 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Excel is not dividing the column 1.25 and 1.5 there is only addition in 1.25 column.. Please help me..

Hello.! Thanks for the Excel Education.! I understand all the formula and also tried on the sheet that you provided in link. but I stucked on "If with AND function" TAB You applied this formula in excel : =IF(AND(B3>35, C3>35, D3>35, E3>35), "Passed", "Failed") and When I applied this, I also got the correct answer But I want different type in this : like for eg: "IF HARRY SCORED LESS THEN 35 MARKS IN ANY SUBJECTS THEN IT SHOULD SHOW FAIL" but I tried this. : and showing "PASS" in all Cell.. Basically you applied : MORE THAN ">" and I want to apply : LESS THAN "<" By using MORE THAN ">"...the outcome shows correct.! By using LESS THAN "<" .. the outcomes shows incorrect.! By the way, I used this formula (eg. also attached below from excel sheet : =IF(AND(B4<35,C4<35,D4<35,E4<35),"Failed","Passed") In this Gandalf scored "29"in Math, So Outcome should show "FAILED" , but it is showing "Passed" Name Science Math English Social Analysis Result less then showing error Gandalf 67 29 41 82 Failed Passed

The weekday function is not working for me, no matter what I do. I tried formatting the return cell value with General and Numbers but the cell keeps returning the error code #Value!. This is how I type the function, on the right side of the date column I typed; =WEEKDAY(A3,2) Result shows #VALUE!. I need help, can it be my excel worksheet settings? I'm using MS Excel 2021

@@Syedhussainipage Thank you for your reply! When I apply the formula =(xx - xx) * 1440 to my time frame, it comes back with 00:00. My times are formulated to hh:mm. I work in food manufacturing and the operators are not calculating regrind the same way each time, as they should be, so I want to create an Excel calculator for them. They would input the time frame and get the correct minutes back that they would use to calculate the regrind. The shifts are 12hrs (0700-1900) and (1900 to 0700).

I want to calculate the minutes between press start to time product was called good. i.e..operators would enter the press start 07:22 to good product 08:01. When I use your formula (08:01-07:22)*1440 it returns an answer of 0:00. It should say 0:39 min.

Wouldnt this be better if you added comma's and "and" in the output such as Two Million, Three Hundred Thousand, Five Hundred and Twenty dollars, and Thirty cents. And include an instruction to change dollars and cents to the current currency, ie. pounds and pence

Thank you for letting me know that. I understand the issue. The problem arises because the script is not properly handling the segments and placing them in the correct position. We can adjust the script to ensure that the larger numbers are placed correctly and do not result in incorrect concatenation like "One Million Thousand."
