Don't forgot though that CGNR is in Ireland which is not very favourable to mining these days - GGP being in Australia is an entirely different proposition.

The independent schools' VAT issue is just like private health insurance premiums: people are taking their post-tax income and paying, for a second time, for their children's education and their own healthcare. When the state cannot afford to educate or treat all of these people currently in the private sector! So, will it really be a good result if people take their kids out of independent schools, put them in state schools, and the cost to the states goes up? The UK is bankrupt as things stand, we should be going down on our knees to thank people for paying taxes for education and health and then in addition paying for those same services a second time in the private sector! The UK has become the most horribly anti-success, politics of envy place I have ever experienced.

Surely on water companies the answer is to increase fines which would stop sewage discharges. And give the environmental agency teeth - they are too cosy with the water companies

Agreed. Roan is 1.5 years late and we still cannot be sure when the ‘upgrade’ will be completed and commissioned. This does not bode well for other modular units that may at some point be needed. I am also long JLP but these delays are incredibly frustrating and need to be put right quickly as trust in the company’s ability to deliver is dissipating fast.

Im long JLP but Leon does get very enthusiastic and regularly overpromise on delivery dates for the ramp ups which has an impact on the overall view of the company and its rating. Its clear that there will be delays on many projects of this type for many reasons, not just with JLP, so perhaps a more conservative line would be deliverable and help the company's credibility and rating?

A big red flag for me is Leon’s salary $1,029,121 relative to turnover and profit margin. The G&A need’s granular attention.

I’m very interested to see what Morrisons turn up with the vape sales. How long before more supermarkets pick it up in fear of missing sales? I’ve never been in at the bottom rung of a share so am really intrigued. I missed Amazon🤦♂️ so I hope this goes the same way.

I'm stuck in CGNR for the second time in around 12 years now.... Had hoped to see close to £1 on the JV cash but as ever was miles off.... I don't like the Professor's language if Im honest, its always very vague. I have family just a few miles from Clontibret and nobody there knows anything about Conroy or the gold. Its treated as a long running joke when raised in conversation. We need to see quicker progress now we have a solid partner....

What makes you think championing most of the same stocks for 2024 that you did in 2023, is going to achieve results? Is it because you are personally all invested in these companies and are being paid/rewarded for promoting/talking about these companies?
