Everyone filming is a plague even though we like seeing good videos online. I'm totally on artists side that for them, and the audience themselves, it destroys too much of bein gthere live if everyone is mostly focused on filming.

Yeah,but the reason we were all filming(I was also there)is because Maynard said that we could film only the last song,so on Stinkfist everyone whipped out their phone

In London No one filmed as they were shown the door. Tool allowed us to film the last song if we behaved. Absolutely incredible gig and one I will savour in the memory and not through a phone with shit sound and a video I’d probably delete when my cloud is full. Amazing to experience a gig with no filming …. Sad to hear even saying it.

I've been to 2 Tool concerts in Toronto. I am Canadian girl! My sister and myself we together ❤️ and they sound just as good live as they do in their album. Also, Maynard doesn't like being up front and center, he was behind a sheet, all that you could see was his silhouette, with his mowhawk! We webby down to the grunt of the stage and off to the side where Maynard was, my sister began dancing and Maynard was dancing like my sister! That was an amazing experience! He was duplicating every move that she was doing............needless to say, we felt special!

He doesn't want any phones out during the show (and everybody respects that), except for the last song. He tells the crowed they can record that one. You won't see any phone out during the rest of their show

This was the last song, and the only part of the show people were allowed to film. Of course, everyone had their phones out.

Only for the last song, when he tells ppl they can record. He asks not to take your phone out at the beginning of the show and nobody does until the last song.

Honestly though I'd rather that then get shoved around for 2 hours which is pretty much every concert in USA. People were even moshing to Candlebox. I just want to watch the show sometimes. Plus dating back to the 90s Maynard asked the crowds to not photograph. It's not new. I saw some bar band on KZfaq in the late 90s too, forget who but all the teenie boppers had their insta-cams out taking 50 billion photos. Not a generational thing.
