How well does this handguard mitigate heat dispersion? The original handguard for the 11 inch barrel becomes piping hot and is severely annoying.

Caution!!!! this is old EVO version, this lower take down pin is held on by the "Bolt Stock" The new version on my plus 3 carbine the bolt stock has been redesigned and the lower receiver is held in place by a shiney cotter pin. Call HBI to confirm!!!!

Not enough info, couldve made it a 20 mins video and went over some of the internals that are in each, cause everyone should be aware that the cz scorpion factory bolt is dog water quality and made of cheap soft metal

I purchased the handguard for my new Carbine plus 3 and I was unable because of 1x1 inch outside threading on the barrel just before it go's through the receiver that the Trunnel would not slide over. And I could not get any answers from CZ as to why the threading was there and what purpose it served....DUH

The "Scorpion 3 Plus" uses a different trunnion on the barrel than does the "Scorpion Evo 3". On the 3 Plus the trunnion is threaded on the outside diameter and is not currently compatible with our aluminum handguards. We can help you with a return on our parts if you would like? Or look at possibly getting you an Evo 3 trunnion for your 3 Plus.

Ah, interesting. Got a 3+ micro about a month ago and mine doesn't have the wobble problem but my pin is super hard to get in and out so maybe they changed the tolerances on stock ones idk.

No, the oem bottom plate is not reused. The HBI handguard (as well as some of the factory handguards) only require the two side plates for full retention.

Dimensionally yes, but only by about .010" per side (nominally). However from a process standpoint, we would like to believe that we are manufacturing our handguards to a higher precision than factory, such that the entire profile of the handguard is centered about the gasblock itself, ensuring that there is always an airgap between the factory gas block and our handguard.

As a left handed shooter I appreciate this and HBI’s selection of safeties! I will be getting the mini Al for the left side and a large thumb selector on the right! I had seen from a few posts that y’all’s pathfinder grip is a good feel, I’ll be placing my order soon! I like the charging handles yall make! But, only issue is I may have to grind it some of it away Where my optic sits doesn’t allow for the charging handle sit completely into its grove when the magazine is empty 🤔. Anyone have a suggestion?

The factory owners manual does not specify, however we typically clean and lubricate the hammer/sear/disconnector hooks as well as pivot pins (very similar to any other AR type fcg).

Depends on ammo/firearm. Generally speaking any production spec 9x19 pistol will run factory/full power ammo 100% reliably with our microcomp installed. However if you are planning to run reduced pressure/energy loads our microcomps do "comp" the muzzle enough that you should test and evaluate your final ammo+weapon setup before trusting it.

Hey! Not sure if you are still reading the comments here, but any ideas why my trigger won't reset after firing? I changed the bolt for the nexus one and then back again to the factory, this never happened to me before. Might be something with the trigger? Using the binary trigger rn
