Interesting you guys mentioned the VW Golf as I think that car (and Audi A3 if we're honest) are good comparisons. I now own a 2021 turbo hatch, but came directly from a 2016 VW GTI SE, and I think at the time the MK7 Golf/GTI was considered the benchmark for premium small hatchbacks. I can say the interior of my GTI was a cut above all the rest, Mazda steps it up even further. The VW had leather in the usual places (seats, steering wheel, shift boot) but either soft touch plastic or hard plastic everywhere else. The Mazda 3 has all that plus soft leather on the dash and simulated soft leather on the door panels and center console sides. The only mainstream compact that comes close are higher trim levels of the Civic and Acura Integra...otherwise it's above them all. Do I have regrets going from the GTI to the Mazda 3 turbo? No, not really. The only thing the VW did better was the DSG transmission, but the 6 speed in the Mazda is more liveable at lower speeds. Oh, and I get AWD without stepping up to an overpriced Golf R.😎

@@HulkSmashFPV I believe it is the same engine, not sure why it has some loss there. I'm sure it boils down to final tune, fuel eco regs, power/weight etc

I'm 51 yo and just purchased the new 2025 Chevy Trax and I love it. I commute to work a 1hr a day one way and its really comfortable and nice to drive. I added a roof rack and mudguards to mine and it gives it a sporty look. It's a nice care for the price and good on gas and yea I like the tinted windows but I have to get the driver side and passenger side windows tinted because they came without the tint.

I bought a 2024 Nautilus . Having trouble with the rotors rusting. When you apply the brake after washing the car. Or after a rain will happen every day. I was told to ride the brakes to get the rush off everyday. Lincoln will not correct my probably
