Was it fun? Then it was worth it! Many people build vorons, its pretty much a solved problem, this seems way more unique and fun

This has been an inspiring video, I’m also in the process of upgrading everything on my ender 3 and sometimes regret my life choices and end up frustrated when things don’t go as planned. But you’re right by saying that when it will be accomplished it will be amazing.

Insane work and the dude making it is very funny too🤣 as an automatician it hurt seeing loose cables in the chain. On my CNC I 3D printed some separations clips that help separating the cables inside. you place 5 or 6 of them in your chains and it will help keeping them paralels. 😉 again very nice machine !

Cool print, but id suggest breaking the hinge up into a bunch of tiny ones to increase longevity as it splits load amoung many points as opposed to one.

It's more about the orientation that he printed it at for not using supports. It is the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon for the printer, I have one and love it.
