@@residentJ3553 The biggest thing is that they “normalized” all ship part stats, so all the laser repeaters do the same damage, shields are the same, etc. The gimmick of attritions is no longer there, and it makes choosing your ship way less fun. Me and my homie used to roll around with a Talon/Harb combo and we’d terrorize entire servers with our criminal antics. TBF, those ships were straight broken at the time (C788s on a talon was the nastiest bullshit ever), but you still saw more ship diversity in the verse. I used to get pwned by people in the Saber, Gladius, Talon, etc. Now everyone flys a Gladius/Arrow. The other changes to the flight model, improvements to multicrew, and in particular, power management, are welcome, but CIG promised that the ship part homogenization was temporary. It’s been over a year now. This affects the game in a lot of ways as there’s now very little reason to grind for parts outside of the quantum drive… since they literally don’t matter at all.

@@JC-Alan Ahhh I hear the new master modes is lowering the skill ceiling for flying as well :( really kills the motivation to get good at flying

@@fibriza4295 for sure! Well this will depend a lot on the pilot's skills and playing style. but small vs small fighters, Arrow, Titan, Talon, Glaive, Scythe and Sentinel are some of the best for what you asked me in my humble opinion.

I don't know about macros. just distributing power according to the battle situation. And I think that's one of the skills of the game.

There's no reason to have a stealth setup with a Talon.

@@darkestraven139 would you recommend c788? But the downsize of ammo is such a high nerf. I am very new player to sc and I couldn’t find much pvp content on the internet right now, thanks for the opinion :p

cannon type weapons are very difficult to hit in pvp. and currently ballistic weapons are not recommended due to very low ammo. recommended to use c788 for fun when you are skilled in combat by increasing the accuracy of the laser repeater.
