hmm, never had my long straps just drop the bar... also, you hold the bar differently when using both straps? one has a thumb over and the other a thumb under.. then with the long straps you open both hands but with the others just one at a time? it's like you're promoting the deathgrips like you're paid to do so aha.. if you're gonna compare at least do everything 100% the same not just 60%..

VersaGrips, Cobra grips, Gym Reapers, Harbingers. I had my VersaGrips when they first came out 15 years ago, still alive, but got a bit loose - need a new pair. Now these ones here are reasonably priced and look legit. Few things i noticed trying other peoples' straps over the years - single stitching is fine and will last for years, second - one size DOES NOT fit all - I avoid brands that claim it does - too loose and it will snap open mid-set. Third , more neoprene material around the wrist does not really improve anything. What really matters is the quality of the rubber material and the length (not width!) of the strap itself. Some brands have really slippery rubber strap that also is not long enough to wrap around to compensate for the slippery performance. My question here - what is the strap itself made of and does the length of the strap depends on the size I chose - looks like I need medium? thank you!

This freaking thing? No, it's terrible if you do strength training with it, not only you will never have a proper grip, it cannot address the main reason how you fail your grip, which is the bar rolling not the bar slipping. It's literally worse than not using anything when the weight is meaningfully heavy. This type of grip aid is wonderful with calisthenics, and if you only do volume weight training, mild RDLs? Great, deadlfits? Burn it.

Does anyone notice that for the Death Grips he opened one hand at a time and for the other wrist straps he opened up his hands all at once if you open both your hands while using Death Grips the bar will still drop

Are they safe for snatch? I mean, do they unlock easily when something goes wrong when the bar is overhead?

If your grip is weaker than the weight you are about lifting, that pretty much good sign for you to stop there before you hurt yourself.. Gains are a journey so be wise to be safe otherwise the quickest way to achieve success is to walk slowly but constantly.
@wrzaskkielce7814 ай бұрын
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Of course back/harmstrings can carry more load than your grip can handle, so using some kind of straps is mandatory to get stronger and bigger in time.
