Do you think these cut levels are in the games coding? Or would they have to start from scratch?

I genuinely hope that they take some notes from Halo SPV3. I think that game really takes CE to the extreme in terms of difficulty, level length and the flood. Seeing the brutes in CE was also very cool and from a lore perspective is a nice touch. I really hope they make the flood beyond disturbing like SPV3 did.

I feel like this is a somewhat lazy mimicry of Dead Space, and nonsensical BS writing. The UNSC is a very far futuristic human society, meaning them using "low resolution" cameras is utter bullshit. The flood wouldn't be able to properly or effectively utilize a Spartan corpse. Their infected bodies can utilize much more strength, but tend to be very clumsy due to the parasite having to puppet the host's body. We've seen that across the board with Brutes, Elites, Marines, grunts, etc. The stronger bones and muscles from the Spartan program would definitely make it stronger than the usual human flood, but certainly wouldn't be something insanely dangerous. The suit **requires** the brainwaves to use fast-as-thought movements, and the suits generally had a much more significant self destruct system that is activated when they die or they're going to be captured which means the corpse would be rendered almost useless beyond a sluggish flailing doll. The spartan suit also activated the hydrostatic gel, but then the writer seemed to completely forget that while the corpse started moving after infection. The infection can possess a body quickly when the brain is intact, but canonically it takes much more effort if the head and nerves are damaged/destroyed (like from the self destruct). There's also very little or no chance in hell the crew would comply with orders to go down to the zone after watching the flood annihilate their civilians and first wave of troops. Overall, this is pretty unfortunately bad writing for something that could've been so good. And the captain, regardless of how desperate he was for success, would never order his troops so recklessly. The UNSC, as we've seen in the books and games, only promotes exceptional and intelligent people to captain. This felt like it was written by an amateur only somewhat familiar with the series and flood.
