Even though I saw his face long enough to know he is a regular person, once he or any of them put on that face mask, pull the hood over, put the helmet on and snap the regulator on, they become someone else. Firefighter's look very scary with all that stuff on, especially once all the head gear goes on and all you see is eyes looking at you from behind the mask. Then if they talk like that, forget it, that's something completely different! They look ok without all that shit on their head and face which completely conceals their identity. The jacket and pants only is fine.

Nice! If you have your straps looser, sling it around faster, then chicken wing your arm the strap will swing around and go right over your arm and save you some time! Cheers!

By the time I get it all on I'm so fogged up I can't see a thing. Waste 1/2 my air defoging the mask

Why does a firefighter look so scary once the hood, helmet and face mask go on? You can't even tell who is in there, it could be MICHAEL for all someone knows! This is why kids panic and hide under the bed when there is a fire. They hear that robot voice crawling around saying "hello, is anybody in here"? And then all of a sudden eyes appear through the smoke and the guy in the puffy suit, with the funny sounding voice lifts you out from underneath the bed and races away with you. I'm a grown man and that scares me too!

@@dave_dave Most kids hide because of the fire, not because of the gear. However that being said when I was kid I was terrified when I first saw a firefighter, but rather quickly amazed thought they looked cool. Anyways I know a lot of kids will get terrified but that why they'll show kids what they look like and sound like at presentations so they aren't as scared.
