Sorry my hot opinion that dram's cense and skills and mind and face ware no good.

I like the tone that’s only “bright bells”when you dig in. I have a Mk V but it hasn’t much bell… I moved the strike line to get more, but it still needs a regulation to make the keys travel with consistency .. feels a little “floppy” becsuse they have some side travel I hope the new owner is happy. Also I never saw a Mk V with screw-in legs.

Ah, the MK V, my favorite model. I mean, all Rhodes are nice but this was the peak, IMO. Although no doubt the MK 7 and MK 8 are also pretty good!

Steven, your Return to Forever effect patch is just stunning, and was a reason for me to get the SE 70 as a one-stop solution for gigging (with a Scarbee VST). do you have more selfmade gorgeous SE 70 patches for Rhodes to share ? some Zawinul (Bi-Phase) or Herbie ? :) I have a Mark II 88 at a friend's studio in Amsterdam - maar die heeft een tijd te vochtig opgeslagen gestaan :( ..dus die heeft misschien een goede recallibratie nodig. groet uit Beiroet en ook aan Karel - eind jaren 80 ging ik vaak naar de Bamboo bar om Karel te horen spelen.
