Problem with gausses speed is that it scales with sprint speed stat while volt scales with ability strenght which is much easier to get

First off, guass is way faster than volt second the dude didnt even have the right mods to surpass him and third guass prime solos actually fourth this is dudes only video on frickin youtube you can't be sure if he even knows how fast guass or guass prime can be, looking at the speed it's literally thespeed of normal guass with not much speed mods

Gauss: better animations, cooler, better SFX, more good looking, AOE nuke, steelpath monster etc volt: needs to build full speed to beat gauss in sprint

Maybe volt is faster at max speed but gauss's burst is better, he immediately reach the max speed, for volt he has to run for a while. So if both of them go for a long way race volt will be the winner, otherwise gauss will be

Volt is indeed faster, but I think Gauss has a faster inital speed. Not great for competing outdoors, but, learn how to aim down tunnels and hallways and those enemies won't know what hit them. Literally. I also love running laps to energize the battery, opening up Redline, and just tackling whatever poor Grineer or Infested Congo line that sticks themselves into a hallway. Too many at once? Cut Redline to self detonate. It may not be the most efficient, but it's very fun.

Yeah gauss is supposed to be the fastest, from what I've seen you're not using the correct build so ofc volt is faster in this case
