This is such a HUGE improvement over last year's design! I ended up returning last year's version to Costco due to the stitching failing in several areas, and because it was so annoying to put up and take down. I saw these again at Costco this year with a note on the box with the push up riser so I thought I would try it out. HOLY COW is that push up riser ever amazing! I am able to put up and take down the canopy myself with complete ease. THANK YOU for fixing this! Hopefully the stitching stays together this year, other than that this is a very well built canopy and worth the extra money over other available options.

Is the top waterproof?

The fabric for the 10x10 Instant Canopy is water resistant, not water proof. We do not recommend using the Instant Canopy in the rain since the water will eventually seep through and the weight of the water may cause damage to the fabric and frame.

Mine won't twist to tilt....any ideas? Really stuck.

Firmly fix the pole in the umbrella base and then rotate the canopy clockwise or counter clockwise to tilt. If the pole is not firmly secured it will rotate with the canopy as it is rotated and it will not tilt.

To tilt, main pole has to be held steady, while turning top of umbrella. Two person job.
