What a sad story. I'm happy she's in a much better place now. I only wish she had given the advice for abuse victims to terminate their abusive relationship after the first violent incident. Violent abusers, especially men, are just violent people. They are angry people and have quick temper. How can a self-respecting man beat up a woman who's much smaller and weaker. When my wife used to hit me, I just held her in a firm hug and tell her I love her until she calmed down. She always did.
